AN: Green is four years old, and he's only lived in Pallet Town for a month and a half. Blue is four too, but her birthday is coming up in 3 days. Enjoy and please review.
Jupiter boy, Venus Girl
There was a small group of children who often played at the playground in Pallet, but Green found them all far too noisy and had always preferred being alone under the giant oak tree, trying his hardest to read through the first chapter of one of his grandfather's big factual textbooks covering one subject or another.
One girl in particular, however, insisted on pestering him practically daily, who Green found to be the noisiest kid in the whole town, by far.
"And I told my mommy that everyone who's anyone has these snubbull dolls, and since I am clearly better than everyone, I should get one for my birthday! It's simple, really! Don't you agree? Greenie?"
Green looked up from his textbook and stared apathetically at the cinnamon haired, blue eyed girl attempting to climb the tree with kids high heels on.
"I don't – I'm pretty sure you aren't the greatest person ever, by far."
She pouted, he scoffed and returned to his reading.
The girl jumped down from the tree without even losing her balance once (which was surprising considering the kind of shoes she was wearing), and abruptly leaned forward, inches away from Green and his textbook. She clasped her hands behind her back in a dramatic fashion, and stared at the pages below her.
"Hohoho, you totally can't read that book. It's way too advanced for the likes of- hey, that's MY name!" She fell down to the grass, acting as if it was some giant bed to jump on, attention now fully on the book.
"What, where?" Green questioned warily.
"There! It says it right...there! See?" A dirty fingernail pointed at a word in bold that was so stuffed in between big words ("adult words", as his sister liked to say) that Green was surprised she'd noticed it at all.
"Blue! B-L-U-E Blue!"
"I get it."
"Hahaha! So then...it's a book about me? Well gosh! You like me so much that you'd read a whole book about me?!" Blue's eyes turned upward and met his own, full of mischief and and even a bit taunting.
"N-what? No way! Urgh, why can't you just leave me alone?!"
Suddenly, a car horn beeped and Blue spun around to wave excitedly at the people inside it. However, she turned back around in a melodramatic fashion, put her finger to her rosy cheek and winked at the perturbed boy in front of her.
"Remember: Girls go to college to get more knowledge! But boys go to Jupiter to...pfft...get more STUPIDER! And girls are from Venus for...well, I can't say cause my mommy said it's grown up talk! Whatever! Have fun reading your dumb book!"
Before Green could even point out how ridiculous the whole phrase she just said was, she jumped into her parents' car and drove away.
"Sigh...she is definitely the most annoying girl I have ever met..."
The next day, Blue never showed up at the big oak tree like usual.
She didn't show up any other day, either.
