i wrote a lot of drabbles, and this is one of them

He's not quite sure where the tidal wave of jealousy came from, but it's starting to screw with their relationship. He's not okay with that.

Every guy she talks to, looks at, or even mentions in conversation makes his blood boil. He doesn't have a reason to be jealous, she's his girlfriend. Which means she said yes to having him and only him. He's got the girl, but he can't help but question his ability to keep her.

There are so many other guys she could be with. Smarter, funnier, better looking. Why is she still with him? He's just Ross Lynch, a Disney kid in a band. He's nothing special, never has been, never will be.

All he's worried about is her finding someone better than him. She's beautiful and kind, like an angel. And he's nowhere near an angel. He's just an idiot who got lucky enough to be put on a TV show with the most amazing girl in the world.

"Ross? They need you on set in 10," a crew member says through the door.

"Got it," he sighs. Then of course, there's a light tap on the door. He knows who it is, and you probably do too.

"Hey, stranger," she says.

"Hey Laura," he musters up all the happiness within him and smiles at her.

"Something's wrong," she says, down beside him.

"What makes you say that? I'm fine," he says.

"Because you just smiled the fakest smile I've ever seen," she answers.

"Just stressed," he assures her.

"Why?" she moves closer to wrap and arm around his waist and rest her head on his shoulder.

"R5's biggest tour is coming up and there's Austin & Ally, plus Disney is really considering doing a Teen Beach Movie sequel," he sighs, "and that's just my career."

"Well you know I'm always here if you wanna talk or get away for a while," she says.

"I know," Ross nods.

"So what's the real reason you're down in the dumps?" she asks.

He starts to give her an "I-have-no-idea-what-you're-talking-about" look, but she always sees right through those, "it's us."

"Us? What about us?"

"Well actually it's me..." he trails off.

"Spit it out, Shor!" she exclaims.

"I'm worried," he purposely avoids her eyes, "worried you'll find someone better."

"Better? What are you-?"

"Better than me," he continues, "more awards, more money, more everything. Someone able to give you more than I can. I'm going to be gone for months and months, I know how it feels to miss someone and I feel horrible for making you feel that too."

"First off, you're worth it," she laughs, "second, I think I should hit you. I am not with you because of the awards or the money, you should know I'm not a materialistic person. I like you for you. I met you when you were this awkward little thing who was supposed to be my TV best friend."

"But-"

"Somewhere along the way, things got real. I realized that maybe Ally Dawson and I had more in common than I thought."

"Hm... what's that supposed to mean?" he still won't look at her.

"That we both fell for the charming blonde haired musician," she laughs.

"Niall Horan?" he jokes.

"Nah, this dork named Ross Lynch," she shrugs, "no big deal."

"But someday someone could come along and you might realize you like him, and I won't be able to compare," he grumbles, "I'm terrified of you finding someone so much better than me."

"Where are all these insecurities coming from? You should know that it doesn't get better than you," she nuzzles her head closer to him.

"I just know you deserve better, that's all," he finally wraps his around her.

"Stop that, I want you and only you," she says.

"If you say so," he laughs.

"I love you."

"I don't deserve you."

"Ross!"

"I love you too."
