It was the morning of September 14, 2017 and Lincoln, Zach and Ronnie Anne were playing kick ball. Meanwhile, Clyde was watering the plants.
Clyde yelled out his best friend for life's name, "Lincoln, come over here!"
"I'm coming, Clyde." he called out then suddenly he heard a noise from the garden. "Clyde?!" he yelled out loud just as he ran right towards the garden to find his best friend for life out cold by a giant wasp. "Oh my word!" he exclaimed to herself.
"Lincoln?" Zach asked from the living room
"Zach, call 911, Clyde collapsed on the garden grounds!" Lincoln said to him with panic and fear.
"Alright, Lincoln, I'll do it." he said to his other best friend for life while feeling panicked.
Lincoln called 911 and the paramedics came and took Randy to the hospital
AT THE HOSPITAL
Daggett, Norbert, Rocko, Heffer, Filbert, Arnold, Gerald, Eugene, CatDog and Jenny arrived with Lincoln, Lori, Leni, Lola, Lana, Lisa, Luna, Luan, Lynn, Zach, Bobby and Ronnie Anne at the Sunset Arms Boarding House.
"Clyde?" Daggett asked himself.
"You guys, over here!" Lincoln called out from the waiting room
The Nicktoons friends walked right up to where Lincoln was.
Ronnie Anne noticed depression and sorrow in Lincoln's eyes. "What just happened?" Ronnie Anne asked their good friend.
"My best friend for life got injured by a giant wasp this afternoon." Lincoln said to her.
"Is he alright?" Arnold asked them just as he was worried about him as well.
"Lori's speaking to Dr. Jones right now." Lincoln said to them.
"I sure hope everything's gonna be alright." Tommy said to himself.
"Hey, Lincoln, is my mom and your sisters there?" Jenny asked him.
"Yeah, Jenny, they're with Lori right now." Lincoln said to her.
Lori and Mrs. Wakeman came right around the corner with Dr. Jones.
"I'm terribly sorry, everybody." Dr. Jones said to her.
"Lori? is everything alright?" Lincoln asked her.
"Lincoln, I don't know how to say this to you." Lori said to them while walking up to her brother and put her right arm on his right shoulder.
"Lori? what's going on? is Clyde gonna be alright?"
"I'm terribly sorry, Lincoln," Lori said to them while looking at her brother just as she sighed depressingly. "Your best friend for life's deceased."
Lincoln looked stunned.
"Oh my word." Lincoln said to himself.
"No, no that can't be." Dog said to himself as Cat was calming her down.
"Lincoln? are you alright?" Lori asked him.
"I need to sit down." Lincoln said to them.
Arnold pulled up a bright blue chair so that Lincoln could sit right down in it.
Lincoln took his seat just as he asked Lori what just happened.
"He was killed by a giant wasp." Lori said to them just as she was trying to be strong and brave for her brother.
"What?!" Lincoln exclaimed to her in shock.
"It just happened." Lori said to them about Clyde's passing and began sobbing silently.
Lincoln sighed depressingly.
Lincoln covered his face with his hands and began sobbing silently.
Ronnie Anne held Lincoln closer to his chest.
"Oh, Lincoln." she said to him while trying to console him.
"1st my Grandpa Jack, then my Uncle Edgar and now my best friend for life." Lincoln said to himself still weeping silently on Ronnie Anne's right shoulder.
"We know, Lincoln, we know." Ronnie Anne said to her.
They all looked at their good friends trying to not cry and weep.
Gerald was with Phoebe just as she cried a bit.
Arnold was controlling Helga who just collapsed to a chair closest to her and was weeping silently.
About 1 week later, good friends and true family members of Clyde McBride have gathered for his funeral service.
(Lori was weeping silently on Bobby's right shoulder.)
"We know, Lori, we know." Bobby said to her as Mr. and Mrs. McBride looked right at their son's blue casket containing his motionless body.
Mrs. McBride wiped away her tear drops. "He's with his Uncle Edward in the skies of heaven right now." Mrs. McBride said to herself as well.
Mr. Hyuhn looked right down at Clyde's motionless body. "This is just terrible, horrible, terrible." Grandpa Phil put his right hand on Mr. Hyuhn's right shoulder just as he cried and wept over his deceased neighbor, then Mr. and Mrs. Kokoshka walked right up.
"I know things went crazy sometimes, but..." Mr. Kokoshka choked up then turned over to Mrs. Kokoshka and wept silently on her right shoulder.
Filbert walked right up to the golden casket.
"Clyde, you were our good friend and neighbor and may the universe be safe and secure in your memories." Filbert Cried a bit just as Dr. Hutchinson held him closer to her chest.
Lincoln stood right next to the blue casket.
"Clyde, why did you need to pass away? why?" Lincoln asked the skies of heaven with tear drops in his eyes.
"It's just not fair, Lincoln, it's just not fair at all." Lola said to him.
"1st we lost our classroom spider, then Lincoln lost his grandfather, uncle and best friend for life in the exact same year, no less." Zach said to himself while looking at the golden casket and his good friends at the exact same time.
"This is just tragically depressing." Heffer said to himself.
"This doesn't seem real to all of us." Rocko said to himself.
Tommy looked right at Lincoln who was now silent. "Lincoln, are you alright?" Tommy asked him.
"My grandfather, uncle and my best friend for life are deceased, how do you think I am, Tommy?" Lincoln broke down in depression. "I'm terribly Sorry." he said to him.
"Well Don't be." Lincoln said to him.
"How are you all doing?" Mrs. Wakeman came right up asking Lincoln and the others.
"Well, Mrs. Wakeman," Lincoln said to her. "my best friend for life's off in a much better place in the skies of heaven right now."
"I know that, Lincoln, but that's part of the great mystery of life, you just don't know how much time you have left to live." Mrs. Wakeman said to him.
"Hey, they're beginning the funeral service." Ginger said to them.
Everybody sat right down, Lincoln right next to his parents and his sisters. Lincoln's best friends for life and sat right behind them.
CatDog went right up and Cat spoke about their neighborly relationship with their good friend and neighbor, then Lori walked right up and struggled through her speech just as she almost silently wept throughout the entire service.
Rocko, Heffer and Filbert got up and they sang a karaoke song and while they were doing that, Lincoln and his sisters had silent tear drops coming right outta their eyes. Lori had her arms around them while they sat right back just as tear drops came from his eyes and they felt some hands on their right shoulders, so they looked right back to see them giving them depressed smiling faces. Lincoln and his sisters smiled at them then sat frontwards losing their smiling faces when they looked right at the casket.
Reverend Katzenberg walked right up and asked if there was anybody left who wanted to say some words to which Lincoln said he'll do it.
Lincoln walked right up to the podium and looked at his good friends and true family members.
"Good luck with your eulogy speech, Lincoln." Ronnie Anne said to their good friend.
"Thanks for being here, everybody, Clyde would've appreciated how much you all cared so much about him," he began his eulogy speech. "I didn't have enough courage and bravery to speak at the award ceremony, and it was Clyde who gave me that courage and bravery, he was our brave young hero and best friend for life, we looked up to him," Lincoln teared up a bit. "And I-" tear drops began going down his face. "I just wish that he was still here." he said to himself just as he slowly broke down. "My sisters wish that he was still here and the others wish that he was still here." he began breaking down at the podium so his sisters, Ronnie Anne and Jenny got right up from their seats and walked right up to him and put their hands on his shoulders.
"It's gonna be alright, Lincoln." Ronnie Anne said to her.
"We're here for you, Lincoln." Leni said to her.
"Ronnie Anne, you guys." he said to his sisters and his good friends.
"You're not left alone, Lincoln." Zach said to him.
"You guys." Lincoln said to them.
"We're all here for you, Lincoln." Ronnie Anne said to him while Jenny was right next to him.
"Always in our hearts and minds, just like your grandfather and your uncle as well." Jenny said to him as well.
"Thanks a bunch, you guys." Lincoln said to them then cleared her throat. "Clyde was a very nice and clever young person," "I remember a good story that I once told everybody, 1 time when we were on a hiking trip, he said and I quote: "Nature's calling out."
Everybody began laughing a bit "You just can't make that up."
Lori cleaned away her tear drops just as Lincoln continued his speech.
"Thanks a bunch, Clyde, for all of your true love, I'll miss you more than anything, goodbye." Lincoln said to himself then his best friends for life and sisters joined him in a group cuddle just as the entire crowd applauded.
They walked right up to the podium and joined them in the group cuddle.
"Thanks a bunch, you guys." Lincoln said to them.
"No problem." Rocko said to him.
AT THE CEMETERY
Clyde's blue casket was buried underground and they stood right at his grave.
"Clyde, we really loved being with you and we'll miss you more than anything, but we know that we'll be remembering you again some other day." Lincoln said to the grave while kneeling down
Ronnie Anne kneeled right down with him.
"Goodbye, Clyde, we'll never forget about you."
Zach kneeled right down next to them.
They stood silently right behind their good friends.
