This is something from my own mind, if I copied something I really didn't mean to! And if this is some episode, well I am only on season four and haven't seen it!

Inuyasha came in to the hut only to find a weird sight. Shippo was crying in the corner. The gang had stopped in a town for the time being and Shippo was so happy to go play with some human kids. Kagome and Sango were both off shopping in the Markey, and the monk was probably having fun with the ladies smacking him. Inuyasha sighed, he hated feelings, ever since he was a little kid and didn't know how to handle them. Why do you think he made a complete jerk of himself to his friends?

"Oi what's wrong Shippo? Inuyasha asked.

"N-nothing Inuyasha." The little fox demon mumbled into his kimono. Inuyasha rolled his eyes, even he wasn't that blind.

"Tell me kid."

"Why would you care?" Shippo snapped at him making him inwardly flinch.

"Just tell me."

"None of the kids will play with me, because I am a demon." Shippo mumbled. He rolled the red ball that he had been given by Kagome. Inuyasha thought back to the time he was always lonely as a kid and sighed, he hated that. He went over and picked up the ball. "What are you doing, Kagome gave me that!"

"Well you aren't going to find much use of it in here! Come on if it means that much to you I'll play with you! Just stop crying already it gives me a headache!" he growled. Shippo rubbed his eyes.

"Really?" when the dog-demon nodded his head he cracked a full smile and leapt at him latching at the waist. "Thank you so much Inuyasha!"

"Keh, the only catch is that this isn't going to be often!" Shippo nodded eagerly. And the two of them left the hut.

"So Shippo who did you play with today? We didn't see you with the other children." Kagome asked.

"I played with Inuyasha!" he exclaimed, getting astonished looks.

"Inuyasha?" Miroku asked.

"Yeah! He came and played catch with me!" Shippo then went on a full detail story of all that they did, even the fact that he had found out that Inuyasha was beyond ticklish.

Meanwhile Inuyasha lay on a branch in the tree outside smiling, it was one of the best times he had ever had, though he would never admit it.

"Inuyasha?" Kagome asked from under him.

"What do you want?"

"Why did you play with Shippo? It wasn't just from a moment of generosity!" Kagome put her hands on her hips.

"I just remembered how I never had anyone to play with when I was younger, because I was a half-demon! I don't want Shippo going through that."

Kagome nodded. "So you played with him because of a memory. I know he appreciates it." She left him after that came out of her mouth.

The group was leaving the town when a rock hit Shippo's head. Turning he saw the group of kids that called him names. Shippo had neglected to tell Inuyasha that the kids had thrown rocks and yelled at him when chasing him away.

"Bye demons!" the leader said.

Behind him all the rest had stones ready and aimed, only to find the dog-demon holding their leader by the scruff of his kimono.

"I will say this once. LEAVE MY PACK ALONE!" he tossed the boy back and picked up Shippo. Then walked away.

"What just happened?" Miroku asked.

"Um I think he just dealt with a bully." Kagome said. Then they ran after him.

"Inuyasha, why are you treating me like a little baby?"

"I'm treating you as my brother!" Inuyasha mumbled. The fox didn't even question opting instead to curl on top of his head.

"Alright big brother." He whispered.

Alright this isn't the best, but I typed it up in thirty minutes and thought it got the point. No FLAMES! But please do review.
