Four girls just moved into town. Their names? Lilli, Jennifer, Maddie, and Charlotte. They're all best friends and are going into the 10th grade together. But each of them have a secret to hide...

At school:

"Hey, who are the new girls in town? I heard they were coming here" snapped the school's most popular girl, Taylor.

"Those b*tch** better not think about joining our group!" another girl said.

As she was saying those words, the four girls walked in. Everybody turned and stared at the pack.

"We weren't, not even close" Lilli, the strongest link, replied with a hint of bitterness.

All the girls went to their lockers, and the two other girls continued to gossip. When Maddie, one of the girls, went to her locker, a boy named Liam came around and said welcome and smiled.

He's so cute and dreamy! How sweet of him to say welcome, but I better be careful... He could be just like my father..., Maddie thought.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the school, Charlotte and Jennifer's lockers were next to each others.

"Hey Char, do you have a spare brush for me to borrow? My hair is still in bedhead mode."

"Ugh! Jennifer, you really should bring your own brush to school" Charlotte complained while handing Jennifer her brush.

After brushing her hair, Jennifer closed her locker and started walking to Math with Charlotte, meeting Lilli on the way there. Lilli said that she had found something weird in her attic and wanted all of us to come check it out after school. Charlotte texted Maddie all of the details, and she replied with "Okay. Meet u guys at L's house. gotta go 2 history now" All three girls then headed to class.

Math:

As Lilli sat down, a note flew onto her desk. You better tell them that you're pregnant and have a boyfriend that your friends are against. Just remember, bad things and bad lies lead to bad karma... -A Turning around sharply, she looked to see if anyone was looking at her. No one was, and Lilli looked back at her desk.

"Hello there class! My name is Mr. Brown, and I'll be your guys' teacher. Today's lesson, Roots & Radicals."...

History:

Maddie was going through the door and then accidentally bumped into Liam. Both of their books fell onto the floor, and they bent down to grab them.

"Sorry. I-I'm such a klutz." Maddie said while getting her journal before anyone could get it.

"It's okay. Wait a minute, you're that girl who I said hi too. Your locker is number 247 right?" Maddie nodded slowly.

"Nice. Mine's 248, right next to yours. Hey, I never got your name. Mine's Liam."

"I'm Maddie."

They walked into the classroom together and sat at their desks. Everyone came in and started to take out their books.

"Maddie, you're gonna love this school." Liam whispered. "It's perfect, and don't worry about those girls. If you just ignore them, they'll stop."
