A little short story I made while I was on vacation, Hope you enjoy ;)

From the very beginning, God had granted his greatest creation, mankind, free will. A man can decide to do what is right or he can decide to do what is wrong. He can decide to leave another man whole or leave him in tatters. This is the story of a man who loved a woman, practically adored her, with all his heart. Edit- This is the story of a man who lost everything.

Edits- because sometimes a story isn't a whole story

A man sits at the corner of West 40th and 6th avenue, laden in clothes that are torn at the seams and caked in filth. He is roughly fifty years of age and limps on his malnourished legs. Every day at precisely ten to five, the man will limp over to his corner and place the cup he has been using to collect money for the last three years in front of him. As hundreds of people pass this man, some will ridicule him and try to guess his predicament while others will send a glance of pity in his direction. Regardless of all the malice and glances he receives on a daily basis, a dollar or two will be tossed into said cup and the man will offer a smile to his donor. At the end of the day, the man will limp back to wherever his "home" may be.

He isn't insanely talented, nor does he have the IQ of a genius. He is just a man who lost everything to love…

Three months later, the man gets down on one knee and proposes to the woman he believed to have loved him.

The woman, adorned in various different types of jewelry, smiles in a fashion similar to the way she had three months ago during their faithful encounter

Less than a week later, they marry by the seashore at ten to five

To say that the man is overjoyed and overcome by emotion would be an understatement.

You see my friends, the heart is a very fragile vital organ. It is a very powerful organ, it possesses the power to preserve life but yet, when it comes to loving another the heart becomes a very fragile, very weak liability.
