The master stood up on the bar and spoke, "Listen up! Okay as you all know its Halloween tomorrow" at that comment there was a round of cheers which grew as the master continued "and so there shall be a festival and a competition where the scariest costume shall win 50,000 Jewls! So you all better get some scary costumes if you want the win" Once he finished there was another round of cheers as people planned their outfits.
The next day at the festival, Lucy stood in the crowd wearing a bunny costume that Erza had given her when they went back to the past because of that book. Apparently Natsu, Gajeel, Grey, Erza and Happy had entered the competition unlike her, so she stood with Wendy, Carla and Levy watching the contest.
The first two to come out were Natsu and Romeo who were dressed in a dragon costume, and for effect Natsu breathed flames getting loud cheers from the crowd before the judges sent him back.
The second to come out was Erza who was dressed as a Zombie, eating something that looked like brains but was probably not. Her cheers were just as loud as Natsu's but they got a bit louder when she glared at them making everyone tremble in fear.
The third out was Asuka, who was dressed as a pumpkin, which was the most adorable thing anyone had ever seen, getting her a cheer that beat even Erza.
After Asuka was happy who to Lucy's shock was dressed up as her, with a wig and clothes that she was sure he stole!
"Aye!" he yelled, making Lucy loose her temper. She was just about to kill him when that really annoying reporter for sorcerer weekly came over and said "That was so cool! But we have to end it here as clearly nothing can be scarier than Lucy" That was the last straw and before anyone could say anything more Lucy ran to the stage and chased Happy yelling "I'll get you! You stupid cat!"
This made the crowd laugh so hard, but over them you could hear the voices of a very pissed off Grey and Gajeel having a tantrum around the back of the stage on how they didn't get a go.
