I realize that the events happening in this fic probably couldn't happen, and it's mostly a creative usage of time. We don't see what happens between Magnius going unconscious and the ranch exploding or have a good idea on the passage of time between the two.

Slowly his consciousness came to with muddled thoughts that blotted at his brain. Sirens coming in gradually at a louder volume before his own ears couldn't bear to hear anymore. The flashes of red searing into his eyes as they began to focus on his surrounding. He could feel the cold touch of the metal ground just beneath his body, and even more he felt a warm sticky liquid pooling around him. Attempting to pull himself up, he became more aware of what was going on and the state of his own body. A mangled mess with more red than his own hair provided on his person. Brought to shambles by a ragged group of humans and those traitors. Vermins.
Yet, just a his hatred for those who brought him this low swelled up in his mind, a sudden panic settled in as he began to remember more. Shakily he began to try to pull himself up, his muscles tensing and using all the strength in his body, and yet as soon as he managed to pull himself just a few inches from the ground his body gave out and down he fell with a harsh thud.
He knew without a doubt that he was going to die. If not from his wounds then the destruction of his ranch. A pained and cynical laugh came from his throat as a determination settled into his body. Despite all the pain that wracked his body senseless, he had to inform Forcystus of the treachery that had come upon the organization. He had to warn the half-elf so that at least he wouldn't befall the same pathetic fate as he did. Rodyle needed to be stopped.
He took a breath and attempted to pull his damaged body to the control. Hoping with each movement that shot a fire through his body that the fool hadn't disabled his ability to do so in some way. The few precious time he had began to tick away as his arduous movement continued.
How could Rodyle do this to him? To his kin!? He knew that little prick was a worm, but a backstabbing worm? What had he missed? Who else did he trust that caused all of this? Rodyle was conniving, but to have this occur just didn't add up to the red-head.
Eventually he managed to pull his mangled body to the controls. His eyes quickly glancing at the clock that ticked by the moments of his death. Panic filled his body and he groaned loudly as he strained his body to push the necessary buttons. Once the screen began to load with the image of a not so happy Forcystus. All Magnius could say was his name.
In that moment with only a second to spare, his expression was filled with sorrow and apologies. No words managed to come out as the screen on the other side went white. The rubble with smoke and fire filling the Palmacosta Ranch into a showy firework.
Magnius didn't exist anymore, but before he left, he was glad he got to see someone precious.
