Edward and Alphonse are on another mission assigned by Mustang, the mission is supposed to be easy. "Fullmetal, your new mission is to find and arrest two men that have smuggled in a dangerous substance," Mustang said to the brothers, "we know their location, but you two need to capture them."
The brothers said their thanks, and left to catch the train before it left. Another mission to do for the brothers to ease their mind and see the world. "How much further do we have to go," Edward said pouting, "just a little bit further brother," Alphonse said to his older brother.
The brothers finally made it to their destination, and were surprised by how many people lived in the small town. They were going around showing photos to the towns people so they could find the men. Later a women said the lived in a big warehouse building, so Ed and Al searched the area to see where they were hiding the substance.
Edward decided to go inside and told Al to lookout for the men. Edward started to hear footsteps but he thought it was just Al, and continued with the search. Ed than felt a sharp pain in his abdoman and head, then the world turned black, but, before he passed out he heard Al call his name.
Alphonse was now carrying his unconsious and bloody brother to a hospital as quickly as he can. When he got there a doctor and some nurses quickly got Ed to the ICU for emergency surgery andtreatment. When the doctor came out he said that Ed would have to stay awhile, so Al asked were the phone was, he called Mustang to tell him what happened and where they are, he then called the Rockbell's to tell them about Ed's injuries.
Al sat in the waiting room, then everyone arrived to see Ed as quickly as possible. Then a nurse appeared and said that everyone could see him, and led the group to his recovery room. When they were in the room everyone stared at the unconsious and pale boy in the bed, they wondered what has happened. They asked Al, but he did not know what happened, so they decided to ask Ed when he wakes up.
Then everyone started to leave, except for Al, who stayed at his brother's side until he wakes up.
