AN - So I've been reading fan fiction for quite a while and decided I wanted to write some myself. So this is my first story it's basically drabble but whatever (:
So this was it. This was how it felt, just like the way it was described in all the romantic novels I had read. It did make you want to curl up in bed and cry until the tears stopped flowing.
"Victoire!" My mother shouted to me. "Harry and Ginny are here."
In all my self-pitying I had forgotten Harry and Ginny were coming over with their children 5-year-old James, shy 3-year-old Albus and little baby Lily. I ran downstairs eager to see them after not seeing them for 3 months while I was at school.
"Victoire it's nearly Christmas!" Albus shouted to me, I grinned back at him. Everyone knew Christmas was my favourite time of the year. I looked around and saw my dad and Harry talking, while my mum and Ginny were discussing their Christmas plans. Dom was holding Lily, while Louis played with Albus. I glanced to the other side of the room and froze. Standing across the room from me was Teddy Lupin. I turned away from his gaze and headed to the nearest door, desperate to be away from him.
"Vic wait!" I quickened my pace desperate to be away from him.
"Vic just tell me what I've done". I turned to face him and arched an eyebrow.
"Wow Vic! Don't do that you look just like your mum."
I headed outside ignoring Teddy's constant questions, until I couldn't stand it anymore. "Look why don't you just go write to your girlfriend or something?"
He raised his eyebrows at me, his lips in a thin hard line.
"Ouch Vic, harsh much?" He turned on his heel and walked quickly back to the house. So what if he's mad at me why should I care, it's not like he cares about me anyway. During the past month or so Teddy had begun to date a Ravenclaw called Samantha and Victoire was well Jealous to say the least, it didn't help that Samantha hated the close relationship that Teddy and Victoire had and every time Victoire went to talk to Teddy, Samantha had been there distracting him. Victoire missed Teddy even more than she would ever admit.
I headed to the beach knowing it was the only place that would calm me. As I sat on the rocks overlooking the sea, I saw James throwing stones into the sea, he looked so sad and lonely that I decided to go and talk to him.
"James you ok?" He turned to me with a sad look on his face.
"What's happened?"
"Me and my girlfriend broke up today." Then I started giggling, I couldn't help it, it was so sweet 5-year-old James was upset at losing his first girlfriend.
"Why don't you tell me about her?" I needed to hear someone else's problems to be away from my own for once.
"Well her name was Alice she liked Cats and her favourite thing to do was drawing." I silently aww'd at the cuteness.
"So what's upsetting you Vic?" Curse this boy and his cleverness. "Is a boy upsetting you? I'll protect you Vic don't you worry." I smiled at James.
"James if you knew who he was then you would not want to beat him up." James looked confused at this statement, but he opened his mouth to respond but decided not to, instead he looked up at me and smiled his cheeky grin then turned around and ran back to the house.
No-one's P.O.V
Further along the beach sat Teddy Lupin and today he found himself in a daydream about a pretty blonde and it was definitely not the Ravenclaw girl whom he was suppose to be thinking about. This was a battle he told himself and he would definitely get victory.
AN – ok so extremely cheesy ending :D anyways since this is my first fan fiction constructive criticism is welcome.
Thanks, Fiona
