Hey y'all, ive been reading on here for ages and ive finally gotten the courage to try and publish something decent.
I had been planning on publishing a Percy Jackson fanfic that I was editing for my friend, but she was murdered this year on Feb. 14 in the Stoneman Douglass school shooting.
So im going to try my hand at poems cause im not too bad at those.
Im going to put the title of my writing at the top just to clarify, cause I confused myself a bit.
Please don't send me hate for what im writing, but I do really want constructive criticism, im in a creative writing class and this would greatly help me.

How I Feel Sometimes
There once was a girl,
Who lived in a world,
Where she lay a forgotten pearl
All in a ball she was curled.
And her thoughts would whirl,
While her mind screamed,
So much, she wanted to hurl.
Hence, her demons schemed.
It was so extreme
She felt finished;
Just like swimming upstream
With her energy diminished
And now filled with dread,
She decides to jump, for her life only hangs by a thread.
