WInry sat by the edge of a cyrstaline lake. She was peering off into the distance. It was evening and she was watching the stars. She had a hope in her eyes. I know he'll come back. She thought to herself. She didn't hear the footsteps behind her. She turned around as she felt a hand on her sholder. There was the person she had been waiting for.He smiled at her and sat down. Edward Elric the golden-eyed ochibi-san was back. They sat and talked. He told her he wouldn't have to disapear again. He had finally fufilled his promise to his brother. Alphonse was back to normal. She hugged him she was so happy. In her heart she knew he wouldn't leave her alone and worried again. Before she knew what was happening he had leaned in and kissed her. She had been waiting her whole life for that kiss. He told her that he loved her. Slowly they got up and started to walk back to Winry's house. Ed stopped out side the door. The golden eyes locked on to Winrys blue ones. He started to ask something Winry had been waiting for for a long time. He got down on his knees and pulled a velvet box out of his pocket.

"Winry would you marry me?" He opened the box and showed her the ring. The beautiful saphire ring shined in the moonlight. He had hand picked it to match her stunning blue eyes. Winry had known the answer the second he had asked.

"Yes!" He put the ring on her finger and stood up. She looked at him and her eyes filled with tears. Ed hated to see her cry and wondered what he had done to upsether. She noticed his worried look and told him that nothing was wrong, but she was crying because she was so happy. His worried looked faded as he wiped the tears from her face. They kissed again. They didn't notice that Al was watching the whole thing from the window. Al sighed. He knew how much Winry ment to him. He looked at the clock as he walked up the stairs. It was midnight. He heard the door open and close as he reached his room. He was happy that his brother was with the one he lovedHe closed his door as Winry and Ed started up the stairs. Al was content with the knowledge his brother was finally and truely happy.
