One morning in the woods, RJ and the others had planned a surprise party for someone special.

"Okay! Everyone ready?", said RJ.

Everyone nodded.

"Great! Now all we have to do is wait 'til he comes."

Soon enough, RJ turns and becomes startled.

"Oh, here he comes! Everyone hide!", said RJ. Quickly, everyone hid inside the hedge.

Verne walks by and notices the balloons, cake, and presents.

"Oh, what's all this?", Verne wonders out loud. Suddenly, everyone jumps out.

"SURPRISE!"

Verne jumps.

"Whoa! You startled me!", said Verne.

"Well, relax, old buddy. We're about to sing to you," said RJ.

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Verne, happy birthday to you," they all sang and then applauded.

"Thanks, guys. I appreciate it," said Verne.

"Now time to open the presents!", said RJ.

Verne opens the first present, which turns out to be a garden flamingo.

"A garden flamingo. Thanks, RJ," said Verne.

"Got these ourselves," replied RJ.

Verne opens the next presents, which are toy cars, wrapped lollipops, and a box of zebra cakes.

"Toy cars, lollipops, and zebra cakes. How nice," Verne smiled.

"And last, but not least...", RJ announced as he brought out one last present.

"This is a VERY special present, Verne. Open it and you'll be pleasantly surprised," said RJ.

"All right," said Verne and he opened the present, which turned out to be a makeshift portrait of RJ and Verne together.

"I made it myself," said RJ.

Verne was extremely touched by this and wrapped one arm around RJ.

"This was the best birthday ever. I don't know what I'd do if you never stuck around."

"Heh, thanks, my best friend," RJ chuckled.

RJ and Verne hugged each other and Hammy randomly joined in.

"I like hugging!", said Hammy.

Soon, all the animals joined in a group hug.
