Remus Lupin was an average sized boy. He had short brown hair and chocolate brown eyes. He likes reading and writing. He was just like any other eleven year old but he had a secret. He was not only a wizard but a werewolf too.
At the age of five he was bitten by the world's most feared werewolf, Fenir Greyback. Fenir Greyback was an evil. He liked to torture, kill and bite unsuspecting witches, wizards and Muggles.
When Remus' dad found him after he was bitten he cried and reassured him that everything was going to be ok. They then told Remus' mother and she also took it well. Both parents ensured Remus that he was a normal boy and he would live a normal life and they still loved him.
Every full moon Remus would go down to the basement and transform. It was a very painful transformation. Months later there was a wolfsbane potion invented. It would stop people transforming into aggressive werewolves providing they took it before full moon.
The only problem Remus had to face with being a werewolf was going to school. He couldn't wait to go to Hogwarts but he was afraid of biting someone and hurting his fellow pupils. The head master of the school, Albus Dumbledore, had insisted that he was fine. He had also asked the Herbology teacher, Professor Sprout, to plant a tree that could attack anyone that went near it. There was a tunnel in the tree leading to a house which was known as the 'haunted house'. It wasn't haunted but Dumbledore encouraged these stories for Remus' sake and he was able to transform in the house and when he turned back he could go through the tunnel and back into school.
Only the teachers knew about his 'furry little problem'. He didn't tell anyone because he didn't want the other pupils fearing him but little did he know that five years later his best friends , James Potter, Sirius Black and Peter Pettigrew, would become un registered Animagi ( the ability to turn into an animal of their choice) just to support him and help him through his transformations every month.
