"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, INO!"
A One Shot!

I thought up this story in Science class as I was bored to death! LOL! Well I hope you all like it and Please Please Review!!!

"Surprise!" yelled a group of young chunins as Ino Yamanaka walked through the door of her home.
"Happy Birthday Ino!" said her best friend Sakura.
"Thanks!" replied Ino as she looked around at all her friends. "Wow! A surprise party, I would have never guessed!"
"That's because we're good at keeping secrets!!" gloated Naruto and Ino just giggled.
She was looking for someone, but she figured he didn't want to come anyway and this made her sad.
- Ino's P.O.V. -
"Who wants cake?" I said trying to take my mind off him.
"I do!" yelled everyone in the room.
So I pasted out fifteen pieces of cake, including my own.
When everyone was finished eating Kiba came up to me and asked "Can we knock the piñata down the now, because me and Akamaru really want to! Right Boy!"
"Bark!" answered Kiba's lil pup Akamaru.
"Ok, sure go ahead." I replied.
"Yes! Come on boy!" Kiba yelled and then he ran off towards the piñata with his pup trailing behind.
No one else really wanted to knock down the flower shaped piñata, so we decided to dance.
Sakura ran over to the jukebox (yes I do have a jukebox in my house) and put on a slow song which meant only one thing … couple dancing!
'This is horrible!' I thought. 'I really don't want to hurt anyone's feelings but I'm just not in the mood to dance like that' I let out a big sigh.
Luckily no one had asked me to dance and that made me happy because I didn't want to and it also made me mad because it was MY birthday party for goodness sakes!!!
As I watched the other couples dance (who were: Gaara/Sakura, Naruto/Hinata, & Neji/Tenten) I felt a tap on my shoulder and then I heard "Sorry I'm late. Do you want to dance?"
I turned around to see him, to see my crush smiling sweetly at me, so I smiled back and said "I'd Love Too!" trying not to sound anxious even though I was.
So we walked out on to the dance floor, moved closer together, and I rested my head on his shoulder.
Then I heard him whisper in my ear "By the way … Happy Birthday Ino!"
And the next thing I knew, Shikamaru Nara was kissing me softly on the lips!!!
'I will never forget this day!' I thought as I kissed the man of my dreams!
This was my Best Birthday Ever!!!!
