"What," Neal started apprehensively, eyeing Kel's bright red, yellow, and fuchsia-spangled garment with tangible distaste, "is that?"

"Don't be silly." The lady knight replied airily, placing her tray on the table, "It's a Thneed."

"Well that clarifies it!"

"A Thneed," Kel told him solemnly, leaning closer as if the information she was about to divulge was a secret of incredible importance, "is a thing that everyone needs."

Leaning back in her chair, she shot a mischievous look at her utterly baffled best friend, who currently was doing an uncanny impression of a fish. She tried to hide her grin by spearing a chunk of venison with her fork.

"Eat your vegetables."
