A.N was listening to Somebody by Reba McEntire and thought this reminds me of Thorin and Bilbo... so then this was born! I hope you enjoy, I don't own the Hobbit or the song that brought up this story.

Thorin smiled as the waiter brought his eggs and then filled up his coffee cup. He smiled and asked how he was today?

Thorin then talked about the girl he had been seeing for the past few weeks and then joked about how badly it ended, her throwing a priceless plate at him. Thorin then frowned and said "I think I'm about ready to give up" the waiter frowned, his eyes looking a bit sad as he said "I've been there before" the waiter paused and then smiled a beautiful smile "but keep on looking because maybe who your looking for is somebody in the next car, somebody on the morning train, somebody in the coffee shop that you walk right by everyday, somebody that you look at but never really see."

Thorin watched as the waiter severed the others smiling and laughing making small talk. Thorin finished up and went to pay, as he finished the waiter came by and whispered to him "somewhere out there is somebody."

Thorin looked at the paper, the reporter talking about the recent brake ins, but he kept remember what that waiter said to him. He folded up the paper and looked to his side, seeing the blue eyed boy from two floors up. Thorin thought 'maybe he's the one, maybe he could fall in love him'.

Somebody in the next car
Somebody on the morning train
Somebody in the coffee shop that you walk right by everyday
Somebody that you look at but never really see
Somewhere out there is somebody

The two now laugh about the moment it had happened, the moment they always missed intill that day.

Thorin walked into the diner, rubbing his eyes and then there was a crash and a warm wettness on his clean blue shirt.

"Oh my god I am so sorry" The waiter said and Thorin looked at him, his golden curls had bits of food in it. Thorin eye's meet his and they locked. Thorin then saw the two holding hands as they walked around the town the smaller of the tow resting his head on his shoulder as friends and family make the speeches and there wedding, and then both of them sitting on a porch watching there kids run around in the yard. Thorin laughed and ran a hand through his golden curls picking out the food saying "it's no problem Mr?"

"Baggins, Bilbo Baggins" He said and Thorin smiled and said "Thorin Oakensheild."

Thorin then wonders why he searched so long, when he was always there at that diner.

Somebody in the next car
Somebody on the morning train
Somebody in the coffee shop that you walk right by everyday
Somebody that you look at but never really see
Somewhere out there
Oh somewhere out there, is somebody.
