Chapter 1 - The Cliff
'ABBY!' Connor Temple yelled, getting down on his knees so he could see the girl clearly.
'Connor?' Abby Maitland panically responed. She was at the bottom of the cliff that Connor was up, kneeling over the side so he could see her. Abby looked up at the male, and he extended his arm out.
'Abby, grab my hand!!' Connor yelled, starting when a dinosaur raured behind her. 'Hurry!' He added frantically.
Abby stretched her muscled arm as far as she could and finally, when she was on tiptoes, was able to reach Connor's outstretched arm. Connor pulled upwards with all his strength, and Abby placed her feet on the cliff to climb a bit. She grabbed his hand in both of hers.
Abby started slipping, then lost her footing completely. One of her hands lost grip and fell down by her side.
'Connor, let go!' Abby cried, her arm was hurting badly from hanging. Her other hand started slipping slowly.
'No!!!' Connor screamed, using both his hands to try and pull Abby up.
'P-please!' She pleaded, tears pouring down her cheeks, messing up her mascara.
'I can't!' He blurted. 'I-I love you!!' Abby was to shocked to say anything, so she allowed him to try to rescue her.
Suddenly, Connor felt someone grip and pull him, Abby was pulled up aswell. Connor turned around to see Nick.
'Thanks, Cutter.' Connor barely whispered, breathing hard.
As soon as Abby got up of the ground, Connor held her in a tight embrace. They stood there gripping eachother for a few moments, then followed Cutter back to the anomaly.
