"Riku!"

Riku sighed as the plaintive voice drifted through the wall that separated Sora's bedroom from the lounge, the room that Riku was currently occupying.

"Yes?" he called back, already moving from the extremely comfortable position he had been sitting in before Sora had called.

"The computer's not working!"

Groaning, Riku wandered into Sora's room, casting his eyes to where Sora sat at his desk, pressing the power button on his computer repeatedly. Nothing was happening.

A quick glance showed Riku what was wrong; grinning, he turned to his friend.

"The computer's completely fine, Sora. You're just being unbelievably stupid."

"What am I doing wrong?" Sora asked, his brow furrowing in confusion. "I'm pressing the power button, but the screen's not coming on."

"Well, Sora, first you have to ask it really nicely to turn on."

Sora raised his eyebrow sceptically. "You do?"

Riku sighed. "I know what I'm doing. Trust me."

Sora turned to the computer, a petulant expression on his face. "Can you turn on for me? Please? Because you cost a lot of money, and there's so much stuff I want to do. So can you please turn on for me?"

He pressed the power button again, his face falling when it didn't work. "That was stupid, Riku. It didn't work. You lied to me."

The silverette rolled his eyes. "That's because it's only the first step, doofus. There's still lots you have to do. Now you need to give it a stroke to calm it down."

Sora eyed the computer dubiously, before reaching out a hand and stroking it along the top. After a few minutes of this, he stopped and turned back to Riku. "Now?"

"Now you dance around like a chicken to amuse the computer."

Sora glared at the silverette, glanced at the computer, seemed to decided the computer was worth it, and climbed to his feet. He then proceeded to dance one of the most bizarre dances Riku had ever seen – it included an odd clucking noise, flapping arms that threatened to knock things over a few times, and a weird, jerky head movement. Once he had finished, Sora sat back down, folded his arms, and regarded Riku once again. "Anything else?"

"You have to promise to be my slave for the day to please the computer."

"Why would that please the computer?"

"…Because the computer likes me. Just do it, okay?"

Sora sighed. "Fine. Riku, I promise to be your slave for a day."

Riku grinned. "Great. Now there's only one more thing you have to do."

"Which is?"

"Plug it in."
