"Aaaaaaand, LANDED!" The Doctor shouted to no one in particular as the TARDIS came to a smooth stop. He ran his fingers through his gravity defying brown hair and looked at the scanner that told him where he had landed. The Torchwood Hub.
"Perfect-o!" he said, putting on a really bad Hispanic accent. The TARDIS purred. "Right. I'll just take a bit of a lunch break while you refuel and I'll be back to do some repairs in a bit. I'll be back in, oh,say about half an hour, unless, of course, something happens. As it almost always does." he said, chuckling. The TARDIS laughed with him. ''Right. I'll be off then!" he yelled, grabbing his coat and almost skipping out of the TARDIS. he took three steps, not paying attention, and nearly collided with a certain Captain Jack Harkness.
"Doctor?"
"jack! Long time, no see! Eh?" he laughed, shaking the man's hand vigorously.
"What brings you here?'
"Oh, just a pit-stop really. I was getting a bit hungry and the old girl needed to refuel. Torchwood has a rather lovely rift she can use." He suddenly noticed the change in Jack's expression. "Something wrong?"
"There's something you need to see. Something that fell through the rift."
"If it's alien tech-"
"No. it's not technology. but it is alien."
"Why are you telling me?"
"Because she's supposed to be dead."
"She?"
''Yes. She."
"Alright. i'm interested. lead the way to this 'she'!"
Jack nodded and lead the Doctor into the Hub. He lead him down several flights of stairs into a small cellblock.
"You kept it locked up?"
"Didn't know if she's a good one, or a bad one."
"Jack... What is she?"
"See for yourself."
Jack pointed to the cell all the way down on the right. He walked, rather slowly, to the cell.
The girl inside was curled in a ball. He couldn't see her face, but he knew what, she was.
The girl was dressed in bloody, and rather torn up, Gallifreyan robes. The head dress lay forgotten on the floor.
And the hair... the strawberry blonde hair was crusty with dried blood.
The Doctor smiled.
"Hello, Romanavoratrelundar."
