1. He is brave, and a common garden bookworm

8. His surrogate parents are Saradoc and Esmeralda Brandybuck of the Hall.
9. He loves his cousins and best friend very much and it would be his 'one in a few' crying moments if it ever happened.
10. He is particularly close to Gandalf and Aragorn than any of the members of the fellowship.
