"Some Thought"

Some thought I would fail every one of my classes.

My teacher smiled at me, and handed me a piece of paper one day.

"Good job, Micheal!" She congratulated me, before walking away with a soft smile.

I felt somewhat warm when she said this to me, I remembered. Wondering what she was congratulating me for, I curiously looked at the paper she have given me. It was my report card. Curiously, I looked at the grades I have been received at that time. Most of my grades were A's and one B. I was beyond shocked. This was the best report card I have ever gotten in my entire life. I remembered walking home with a smile on my face.

Some thought I wouldn't have graduated high school.

I remembered, walking, maybe practically running, up to the stage, with a blue gown on, and my diploma in hand. I held my diploma up, for all to see, for all to prove them wrong. I held my diploma in my left hand, and shook my hand with the principle with the right hand.

I was smiling from ear to ear. I gazed down at the audience; I saw Leah-Ann widely cheering on for me. And I saw the rest of them, clapping for me, because I finally graduated high school. That was the proudest moment of my life.

Some thought I would never get my drivers license.

I remembered, passing my test, my driving test. I was jumpy and excited; I had to take my drivers license picture. I remembered smiling big and bright that day.

Some thought they just couldn't believe in me.

I remembered how people always thought all of these things about me. Whether they thought that I couldn't get good grades, or couldn't be able to graduate high school, or being able to get my drivers license, or...just being able to believe in me; well, it doesn't matter to me now.

Because with the help and support from Leah-Ann, and the love and care from her family, that's all I need to succeed in life. Now, I'm a professional footbal player. So, to the people that some thought I couldn't, well...guess what to the people that thought that I couldn't, I did.

The End!!!

This story is about Michael succeeding in life, even though some people thought he couldn't. The movie that I wrote about is called the "The Blind Side". I love that movie to bits. Thank you for reading this story.
