Arthur's Big Yell
AU version of 'Arthur's Big Hit'. What if, instead of HITTING D.W., Arthur yelled at her?

[This continues from where the fantasy of the plane breaking ended]
D.W. had 'accidentally' broke Arthur's model plane. By 'broke', she threw it outta the window and it was smashed to pieces, AND BY 'ACCIDENTALLY', IT was on purpose. Arthur was so totally horrified.
"If it could break the sound barrier, falling out of a window shouldn't be able to break it." D.W. stated.
"I told you not to touch it!" Arthur shouted.
"You built it all wrong!" D.W. said. "Did you even read the directions? It didn't fly for one second! It's not my fault if you made a plane that can't fly!" she continued, unaware of how pissed off her brother was getting.
"I told you not to TOUCH IT!" Arthur shouted, now completely pissed off.
NOW, in the original ep, Arthur, was supposed to hit D.W., and it would lead to him getting punished, and then hit later on by Binky, but, since this is an AU, Arthur thought less about hitting, and more about something better. UNfortunately, it was gonna be something a LOT more worse than hitting. Here it was:
"I told you not to TOUCH IT!" Arthur shouted, now completely pissed off.
What came next came so quickly, even hitting wouldn't be enough to stop it.
"DORA WINIFRED READ, I CANNOT BELIEVE YOU! YOU ARE THE WORST SISTER IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD!" he screamed at the top of his voice.
D.W. was so gobsmacked, she didn't know what to say.
Arthur picked up what remained of the broken plane, and brought it in, closely followed by D.W, just as the rain came a-tumblin' down.
"Is that exactly what happened to it?" Jane asked Arthur, upon seeing the broken plane. "Yeah." Arthur said crossly. "I worked all week on this! I told her a million times not to touch it!"
"I am sorry D.W. broke it." David said. He turned to D.W. "That was a really silly thing to do, D.W." he said sternly. "What if someone was outside the window? They could have been hurt!"
"I'm sorry, Dad." D.W. said. She turned to her brother. "I'm sorry I broke your plane, Arthur." D.W. said. "But what kind of a stupid plane doesn't fly?"
"A MODEL plane." Arthur said bluntly.
"Well, I didn't know! I'm just a child! Gimme a break!" D.W. said in exasperation.
"Truth be told, D.W.," Arthur said, " I'm more to blame than you. I shouldn't have put it where you could easily reach it."
"Yeah." D.W. said. "You know, mom." Arthur said, "I was so mad, I almost considered hitting her." Jane stared. "I'm very glad you didn't." she said.
"And even if he had, he wouldn't have hit you if you hadn't touched his plane in the first place." David said.
"I know, Dad." D.W. said.
"Most kids your age don't exactly know how to compare models with actual things." Jane said. "I mean, would you like it if Arthur went and broke your things?"
"No." D.W. said. "I wouldn't even think of doing that." Arthur said.
"So, does that mean I'm not in trouble?"D.W. asked her parents.
"Well," David said, "How about the rest of the day without TV and we'll call it even."
"OK." D.W. said.
"Did she really do that?" Francine asked Arthur the next day at school.
"Yes." Arthur said. "I was so mad, I almost considered hitting her." "Almost." he added.
"That was terrible." Buster said. "I know." Muffy said. "I would be totally upset if someone broke my things."
And the rest of the day at school went by like normal.
AUTHOR'S NOTE:
I totally think it would've been better if Arthur never ever hit D.W.
But i made it so that D.W. isn't severely punished for breaking the plane. I mean, Arthur was working on a new one in the banned season 8 ep 'Bleep'.
