"Zero." Yuki said, her breath hitched. Zero turned around. "What?" He called back to her. She stood still as he turned around. "I know that you would rather give your blood to Kanime. I can taste it so don't tell me otherwise." Their eyes met, Zero's filled with anger and hurt. Yuki placed a hand on his face and traced his cheekbones with her index finger, her breath still hitching. He pushed her hand off of his face. Yuki looked him in the eye. "I love both of you. But... Don't make me choose." She said before walking back to her dorm.
A few hours had passed and Yuki was deep in thought. She decided that a walk around might help her sort out her mind. She walked out into a brisk wind, holding her jacket closer to her. She didn't mind and kept walking. Suddenly she ran into someone. She looked up and saw Kaname looking at her. "Yuki, what are you doing out so late?" Her breath stopped. "I was going to check on Zero, per the headmaster's orders." She said, adding the last part quickly. Yuki kept walking, now towards Zero's dorm.
Yuki stood outside Zero's door and knocked. When he didn't answer after a few minutes she walked in uninvited. He sat on the bed. She sat next to him. "I'm surprised you didn't answer the door." She said. "I didn't think it was you." "Are you mad at me Zero?" He didn't respond. "You are! Now you're not even going to talk to me!" Zero looked the other way. Yuki turned his head back to her and kissed him. She kissed him and didn't stop until she was out of breath. Zero looked at Yuki with surprise written on his face. "Are you mad at me?" "Mad at you? No, not at you. About you." She looked at him. "How can you be mad about me? I'd say the silent treatment you were just giving me says that you're mad at me!"
"I'm mad Yuki because every time you insist I feed, your blood tastes of Kaname! Wouldn't you be mad if someone you loved had the markings of another!?" Yuki looked shocked. "Zero? You... You love me?" "Yes. I love you, Yuki." Once again, she kissed him. This time, he kissed back. Yuki traced her tongue over his fangs as the kissed drew deeper. Zero broke it first, but instead of pulling away he moved the kiss to Yuki's neck. Once again, Yuki felt her breath hitch. She was expecting him to bite her and feed, but he didn't. Instead he placed tender kisses over her neck, in the same place he bit every time he'd feed. Zero slowly moved down to her collarbone, his kisses growing more and more intense. He moved back up to her lips.
Yuki was gasping for breath once they had broken apart for the final time. "I love you, Yuki." "I love you too, Zero."
A/N: I wrote this after watching episode eight of the anime, so it's filled with my ideas of how things would've gone, and they didn't go how I imagined them. I feel like this wasn't very good. Review if you want.
