The End of a Phantom one shot

Disclaimer: Don't own Danny Phantom (I hate disclaimers sometimes (sigh))

Danny shouted in horror as all his mortal enemies threw ecto energy at him. Vlad Plasmeous added to the horror by throwing an instant cage at him, which fully contained him in minutes. The Kids from Casper High were all staring at him with equal horror. The ecto energy hit him full on knocking him into the back of the bars. Danny grunted as everything went black and he swapped into his human body, the ecto energy leaving him immediately.

An hour later he woke to see thousands of eyes staring at him, the whole of high school looked upon his human body with wonder. "Danny Fenton is Danny Phantom?" Almost everyone asked amazed into unison.

Danny looked at Mr. Lancer and Lancer said, "That explains your constant tardiness, lack of work, skipping school, bruises, obvious first name of Danny 'Phantom', and why you look identical. It's so obvious!" He scratched his chin. "How could we have not figured that out!"

"Yeah I guess it is pretty obvious," Danny said weakly. He turned around to face Vlad. "If I get out of here alive my mom and dad are going to kill me." Vlad laughed.

"Well it makes no difference; you're not getting out of here alive!" Skulker, Ember, Technus, Frightnight, and Poindexter all seemed to find this hilarious and started cracking up.

Vlad managed to take his time pulling out a giant ecto gun that could kill fifty ghosts, judging by the size of it. "Where's Sam, Tucker and Jazz?" He asked hurriedly to the crowd. They all pointed right beside him to the left. Jazz, Sam, and Tucker were all standing there. "Jazz, tell mom and dad I love them, wait I mean tell them that if I don't get out of here alive!" He turned to Sam who had her hands held through the cage he grabbed her hands and said softly, "Good-bye, Sam I'll miss you, I love you."

(Gasps from the crowd) "Bye Danny. ('(-- I'm so mean muwahhahahahaha mwhahahahahaha) Then she added quickly too softly for anyone but Danny to here, "I love you too Danny! But heck, you can make it out of here alive."

"Maybe… Most likely…" He was cut off as the ecto energy burst from its containment and when it contacted Danny he vanished into thin air. (Gasps from the crowd)

"I've been wanting to do that for a long time. Now I can take over the world!" Vlad said madly, and then began evil laughing; he was joined by a chorus of evil laughter as the ghosts behind him savored the moment.
