This was inspired by a line from the show "Touched By A Angel". I loved the episode. It was really sweet. Let's see if you guys can pick out the line. I think it should be pretty easy.
"Finally! It feels so good to be back in my own body, in my own house, and with my girl again," Shinichi said flopping back on the pillows. He smiled as Ran leaned back and rested against his shoulder.
"Newly acquired girl I might add," Ran said happily, "I was still a little mad at you for hiding the truth from me Shinichi."
"Just remember I did it to protect you," Shinichi said.
"You're such an idiot. You know as well as I do that you were scared to tell me the truth even after you defeated the Black Org," Ran said glaring at her boyfriend.
"Don't you take that tone with me miss wings," Shinichi said using the nickname that she had earned from Vermouth. He meant it in a playful manner, but Ran was angered. She thought he was mocking her. She immediately got up and started down stairs.
"Ran! Wait what are you so mad about?" Shinichi asked running after her.
"How dare you talk to me like that? As if I'm not embarrassed enough with the fact that my boyfriend was living with me for 2 years and I didn't even know it was him!" Ran replied outraged. She charged down the stairs and started putting her shoes on.
"Ran please, it was just a joke. I didn't mean it to hurt you."
"Well jokes over jerk." Ran said angrily. She stood up quickly and stormed out of the house.
It had been 4 days since Ran had talked to Shinichi. He was trying to think of a way to say he was sorry. He got his answer from watching a TV show called Project Runway.
'Have jewelry, will travel.'
'Hmmm, not a bad idea,' Shinichi thought. He went to the jewelry store to see what was there. He was caught between two necklaces.
One had a silver angel with white wings. The other had a half moon on it. He was afraid that the angel necklace might just make it seem like he was mocking her about the fight. But the moon necklace just didn't seem to fit her. He decided on the angel, just to see how things would go.
He walked up to her house nervously. He knocked on the door and Ran answered. She crossed her arms and leaned on the doorframe.
"Ran, please just hear me out," Shinichi begged.
"You've got 3 seconds," She answered sighing. She just couldn't stay mad at him could she?
Shinichi just held out the necklace. She squealed happily and grabbed the box out of his hand. She ran to the couch and tied it on. She then went to her room to look at herself in the mirror. Shinichi came up behind her.
"So…am I forgiven?" He asked.
"With no earrings?" She turned to him disbelievingly.
"I'll get earrings if it means you'll forgive me!"
"Just kidding!" Ran said happily hopping into Shinichi's arms.
'I guess the sayings true. Have jewelry, will travel!' Shinichi thought grinning like a fool. He planted a big kiss on Ran's lips and spun her around.
