Dee looked at Ryo's sleeping face. He smiled gently as he caressed the face of his sleeping lover. He was blessed to have a man as kind and loving as Ryo. He never thought in a thousand years that he would fall in love but it happened. It happened when he least expected it.

Dee had never been lucky in love. He had dozen of lovers, one-night stands, but those held no emotions expect for lust. Looking back he couldn't even remember half their names. He had finally admitted to himself that love was not in his future and threw himself into his work. Then that fated day when the chief was going on one of his lecture sprees, Ryo walked into his life. He knew then that he couldn't survive on his own.

He always ran away from love. He never had to work for attention. Ryo was a challenage. And it was Dee's first time trying to get some one to notice him. He never had to work so hard for anything in his life. Working the streets he could deal with, it was second nature, but earning someone's trust and love was harder then walking on hot coals while juggleing a elephant.

Dee looked toward the radio that was playing a intoxicating song. It reflected his feelings all those years ago when he prayed for someone to love, an angel to walk into his life.

He was lucky. God sent him an angel. From Dee's point of view, one of the best angels there ever was. Ryo had to be heaven sent. He took in Bikky with out a second thought, paid for Carol's dad to be released, and made Dee feel loved and safe for the first time in his life.
