This poem was inspired by love, the kind of love that words could never describe. I wrote it from Aragorns point of view, and it's basically his frustration at the inadequacy of words, when he wants to let Arwen know how much he loves her. RR if you like it.
Are Words Enough?
Are words enough, to tell you of my love?
Can they tumble the highest mountain?
Can they stop the mightiest river in it's tracks?
Can they stop the sun from rising,
Or the summer turn to cold?
If not, they cannot tell you,
How I feel, now you have gone.
They cannot tell the aching sadness
That paralyses me at night.
They cannot speak the utter anguish,
That threatens to see me to my grave.
They cannot tell you,
How much I love you ,
Or how far I would go,
To keep you from harm.
No, words are not enough.
