Emma and Henry stumbled out of the hospital as the smoke cleared. Henry, dressed in street clothes and clutching Emma's hand smiled as the last of the purple cloud dissipated at their feet the air seemed to buzz with something that wasn't there before and Emma would bet a months worth of her salary at the sheriff's station it was magic. Emma and Henry wandered through the streets of Storybrooke like a lot of Storybrooke residents unsure what to do suddenly they were surrounded by a mob of angry townsfolk waiting for Emma to give the go ahead to hunt the Evil Queen
"No one is hunting that witch until I speak to my parents!" Emma shouted over the crowed, her head was spinning and she just wanted to cry.
"Hey move it Jack!" a familiar voice said suddenly"Out of the way royalty and company coming through!" The crowd parted to reveal Leroy elbowing his way through the crowd leading a group consisting of six other men, Granny, Ruby, and Mary Margaret and David.
The smoke cleared and Snow pulled away from her husband sharply
"Snow?" James said concerned
"Emma" Snow said she needn't say more because as soon as their daughter's name left her lips the couple raced off towards the hospital with Snow leading the way as fast as they could go. They were half way to the hospital when they saw some familiar faces
"Snow!" Grumpy hollered bring the couple over to the group of seven dwarves and Red and Granny Snow quickly hugged them all in turn
"The curse it's broken!" Grumpy said
"So what do we do now?" Red asked"We go find Emma" James said Red's face lit up
"Oh thank the gods!" Red sighed
"Come on let's go!" Grumpy said leading the group through the streets of Storybrooke somewhere near the hospital they saw a mass of angry people
"What's happening?" Snow asked
"Let's go find out," James said so bravely the group marched on
"No one is hunting that witch until I speak to my parents!" Someone yelled over the crowed
"Hey move it Jack!" Grumpy said as he brushed past Jack from Jack in the beanstalk.
"Out of the way royalty and company coming through!" The crowd parted to reveal Emma Swan and Henry standing in the center of the mob, Emma looked tired and judging by how tightly she and Henry clung to each other they both seemed frightened Snow longed to rush forward a grab the woman she now recognized as her daughter in a big hug but restrained herself.
"Go be with your loved ones the queen can wait" James and no one argued for Snow White and James were King and Queen of the land and would sort this whole thing out. The crowed dispersed followed by the dwarfs and Red and Granny who already was in tears of joy for the royal family. As soon as they'd all gone Snow and James turned to the daughter they barely knew, Snow was the first to advance on the blonde unsure what to do or say so she tried a simple approach
"Emma-" before she could finish her thought the blonde had collapsed into her mother's arms sobbing.
"Oh Emma," Snow said throwing caution to the wind and stroking Emma's hair. James wrapped his arms around the two women and kissed Emma's blonde curls
"We are so proud of you Sweetheart" James whispered causing the blonde to cry harder. Henry watched the scene from the sidelines he had been right! Henry watched as Emma dried her tears and pulled away from her parents
"Hi Grandma, hi Grandpa!" Henry said brightly, Snow's. Eyes met Henry's and smiled
"Henry, come here Honey" Henry rushed into his former teacher's arms
"We're all together now," Snow said dreamily
"And what about the Qu- I mean Regina?" Emma asked
"We'll find her don't worry Emma she'll pay for all she's done to us" James said
"Why wait?" Henry asked
"Round up the war council I think I know where she might be."
