A/N: Originally written in January 2006 for an English assignment. Just a little paragraph describing Fire Lord Ozai's war room, and what it would feel like to go there after being summoned by the Fire Lord. It didn't even have a title originally.

Summoned to the War Room

If you disregarded the presence of the man seated in the chair, the room might actually be attractive. The smooth, mahogany wood chair in which the man sits is gilded in gold and black along the arms; a red cushion provides a comfortable seating place. The walls, of beautiful redwood, are carved with the most delicate designs. The many dark orange banners hanging from the ceiling are emblazoned with an unquenchable flame. There is a door in the far wall of the room. The door is small, as if the man does not frequently desire company. The grand room, so perfect with its minute designs, could have been quite charming if it were not for the person within. When you enter the room, the lord looks at you from his throne with the most cruel gaze . . . and all you can feel is fear.

A/N: So . . . read and review?
