A/N: Well what do you know, another Mia/Jayden fanfic. I just can't help but love this couple. I just can't help myself.

Disclaimer: I do not own Power Rangers Samurai in any way.

I never should have left him. I knew that things would turn out bad but I just decided to listen to Jayden when he said to go. His eyes spoke the truth but his mouth said a whole other thing. I wish that for once I would've listened to his mouth. Now he's somewhere we can't get to and who knows what is happening to him at the moment.

I sat on the back porch and rested my head on my knees. I was an idiot. I should have just stayed with him, I could have saved him, I could of told him that everything was going to okay. I could of-

"Mia?" A voice called out.

I lifted my head from my knees and looked behind me and saw Emily peeking her head through the sliding door.

"Hey, Em," I smiled gently as she walked over to me and sat down.

"What are you doing out here so late at night?" she asked.

"Just thinking," I sighed and looked away from her. I didn't want to be sad in front of Emily because I knew that she would feel obligated to make me feel better, but I just couldn't help but feel down.

"Penny for your thoughts?" she said. I couldn't help but laugh at the cuteness and sincerity in her voice.

"I was just thinking about everything that's happened today. From the Nighlok to Jayden…" I trailed off.

Emily frowned and looked forward. "Yeah, I had a feeling that's why you wanted to be on your own ever since we got home. You know we're going to get him back, right?"

"How do you know," my voice trembled a little bit.

Emily smiled brightly and turned towards me. The moon brought out her light topaz eyes and her hair seemed to glow like never before. "We're Power Rangers, silly! There may be some tough times that we have, but in the end we always win."

I smiled fully at her this time. "Thanks, Em. You always know the right things to say at the most convenient times."

Emily wrapped her arms around me. "I'm glad I could help," she said and pulled away from me, "Now let's get inside. It's going to be a long day tomorrow."

"Yeah, I'm right behind you," I said as I watched her get up and walk back inside. I looked back up at the sky for a moment and sighed.

Hang in there, Jayden, we'll find you…Wherever you are.

A/N: Reviews would be nice. 3
