He was sitting next to her, she was lying on her back, looking at the stars. She turned to face him, a radiant smile on her face. He was startled for a moment, by her crystal clear gaze. "Draco." She began.
And everything around her is a silver pool of light,
The people who surround her feel the benefit of it,
It makes you calm.
She holds you captivated in her palm.
Her eyes were large and sparkling, the moonlight made her pale skin glow and her blonde hair sparkle. He closed his eyes for a moment, awed by her breathtaking beauty. God, if she wasn't a Ravenclaw, or a friend of Potter's…. Besides, father hated her family. He was supposed to hate her as well, but…. "Draco." She started to speak once more.

Then, she stopped speaking. His head was bent over her face, and their lips were barely touching. His mouth was resting on hers like a timid butterfly, but her hands pushed his head closer, and he felt like he was flying.
She fills up every corner like she's born in black and white,
Makes you feel warmer when you're trying to remember
What you heard.
She likes to leave you hanging on her words.
He pulled his head away from hers, uncertainty clinging at his mind. He began to get up, but a sharp tug at his shirt pulled him down to the grass. "What-" he began to say, but he saw her eyes. He saw the longing and the hope and the sadness welling up into a single tear, slowly sliding down her cheek. She pointed her finger at the sky, and spoke one word: "Look."

He looked at the sky, and caught his breath. Hundreds of pinpricks of light, sparkling at them. He looked down and saw that her head rested in his lap, her eyes large. The stars reflected back at him in those eyes. His heart felt like it was going to break. Her gaze shifted to his face. "Draco, I think…I love you." And then, both of them were laying down, stargazing, with their hands entwined. "Me too." he said, and he meant it. He loved the girl laying next to him, and with all his heart, he thanked her for opening his eyes to the beauty of the world.
