Never in my life had I ever felt this kind of pain. It was horrible to say the least. Stomach, churned up into tight cramps, couldn't keep anything down and my head felt like it was exploding. After hours and hours of pure torture, I managed to calm myself. I was damp with sweat and huddled in the corner, pressing my hot back against the cool wall, when everything suddenly went numb. A calming peace swept over me and my vision blurred slightly, then fully. My eyes fluttered as the door to my room opened and in burst my mother. Instantly, she ran over and grabbed me, her eyes filled with worry and already overflowing with tears. She'd seen the bathroom cabinet empty. She knew what I'd done. But she was too late. I allowed my eyes to close and though my eyes weren't properally working, my ears were. I heard the sirens wailing in the distance, quickly working its way in our direction. They, too, were late.
