Hello, fellow fanfic authors and readers! Ninja Mage here (duh, my name is on here after all!) with a brand new fanfic! I apologize for not having an update for anything else this week, so instead I decided to share a poem I wrote for my story, Angel's Child. Warning: the poems in this 'collection' WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS OF AC (my AC, not the FF7 movie)! If you don't mind, go ahead and read. If you do mind, well, then, you'll just have to wait a few days for my next chapter to read my stuff. For those of you who haven't read, here's a brief synopsis of my fic: Sephiroth's 'Earth-born' (our planet was destroyed hundreds of years earlier; she was born on the planet holding survivors) daughter, Kali, is taken under Vinny's wing after the death of her mother (Sephy died before she was born) and they go to the Planet (does anyone know what the FF7 world is named?). Shortly after, they meet the now ex-Turks Reno and Rude, and the members of AVALANCHE, Cloud included. One by one, the AVALANCHE team is killed off except Vinny, Yuffie, and Cid. The three of them, plus the Turks and Kadaj, try to help Kali when she starts hearing voices and finds out she has a mission on the Planet. Also appearing in this fic are Scarlet, Godo, Reeve, and many of my own characters, including Kali, Aeris' daughter Sachiko, Rufus' daughter Valda, and Rude's little brother Bao. Please read it when you get a chance! It's better than it probably sounds here. Anyway, as for these poems, our English class has been doing poetry the past month, and this is probably the best I've ever written, and it all has to do with AC, so I decided to share. Aren't I nice? Also at the end, I'll include who the poem is spoken by and/or who it's to, if anybody. Anyway, enjoy the poems and tell me what you think!

NINJA MAGE

AC-VII

I used to know you from whence we were young.

"We'll be friends 'til the end," or so you said.

Many years passed, friendship's song being sung,

Until the day she got into your head.

As you came for me, she told you those lies

And controlled you for so many a day.

You found me, listened to my pain-filled cries,

I, so close to death; You just walked away.

We met twice more, the first time most pleasant.

Embracing, forgiving, loving again.

This time is Hell, for I know what is meant,

My tears on your face mix with falling rain.

For this last time I hold you in my arms,

Knowing you are safe from these earthly harms.

((This poem was written from Kali's POV and is about her best friend Devin))
