Chapter 1 "Weird New Life"
It's been an hour since me and my parents have been at our new house. I helped put some things in the house, if they were not heavy. If I couldn't I would just sit somewhere on the floor and I would look on my phone. My mom and dad just now brought the last thing out of the mover truck, the couch. So me and my parents sat on the couch for about 10 minutes after the guy who drove the mover truck left. After time passed, my mom and dad got of the couch and was about to leave out the door. All of a sudden I bursted out "Where are you guys going? Your not gonna leave me alone in the house are you?" Then my dad whispered to my mom " I don't think you told her.'' They looked at me. "Tell me what?" I asked. My mom walked slowly to me and sat down on the couch. She looked at me and started off slow "Honey, there's a very strict rule all parents must follow here in Galaxy Hills." I asked, "what is it?" "We have to leave you here, all alone, forever." "For – f –f-forever?" "Honey I know it's hard for you and your mom…" My dad added on. "But your going to have to learn how to take care of your own self." I started to cry. "No guys, please, don't listen to that stupid rule!" "Oh I'm sorry sweety, it's actually the law." When my mom told me that I felt like someone in my family just died. They didn't tell me it was the LAW! They said rule. My dad leans over to me and my mom and hugs us. He starts to cry with us. After 4 minutes of sobbing, they were gone. I got off the couch and just stood there. Then I started throwing stuff around the house. It tired me enough so I fell asleep quick. The next morning felt very weird. I didn't wake up seeing my parents happy faces. I didn't eat breakfast with them either or play board games after our breakfast. I felt like I was going to cry but I held it in. I don't want that to mess up my whole life. I glanced at the clock. It said 7:50. Then I just remembered the new bus comes at 8:00 A.M. So I quickly brushed my teeth, ate my cereal, brushed my hair, and put a tad bit of eyeshadow on. Today I dressed a little more fancy then I usally do. I wore a dark blue blouse with black tights and black low top shoes. As I walked out the door I said to myself, "today's gonna be a great day. You're gonna find many new friends. And maybe, it will kinda be fun to have no parents around. I actually get to do whatever I want now!" I smiled at the thought and walked happy out the door. I barley made it on the bus. It was already here once I was at the bus stop.I felt weird getting on the bus. I'm not too friendly with new people and I'm shy. The bus driver looked really scary. He had a very mad serious look like he hated everyone in the world. I also noticed a scar on his mouth. I just ignored the creepiness and sat down in an empty seat. In front of me was a very happy girl that wouldn't stop smiling for nothing. She had pigtails done for her hair. She wore a yellow shirt with a happy sun on it. She also wore a pink skirt with green lines in it with yellow and pink hy top shoes. She also had a froggy backpack. No one was sitting in the back of me. A few seconds later I heard her whisper to herself, "Oh ChumChum. Oh yes ChumChum you will be mine!" I shrugged my shoulders guessing "ChumChum" wasn't a real person and was made up in her imaginary world. Seriously, who would name their kid ChumChum! I rolled my eyes and sat quietly and played on my phone until I got to school.
