The prophecy that let him dare to dream
The scream that caused his heart to beat again
The tea and conversation that drove his loneliness away
Hope is a beginning
The handshake that reminded his lips how to smile
The courage that forced him to take a stand against the odds
The friendship that made each day better than the one before
Love is never ending
The eyes that peeked into his soul and forgave him
The lips that spoke of unconditional acceptance
The presence that brought warmth into his cold world
Her humble gifts of virtue saved his life a little each day
