Troy is an ordinary 15 year old teenager. His parents can transform into animals. Troy's mother can transform into a puma and his father can transform into a giraffe. You know this is so weird, good thing his friends at school don't know. Mother and father are keeping this a secret from him and everyone. As soon as he turns 16, he becomes an animal and also gets a special power. His birthday is in 2 weeks, his parent's has no idea when to tell him. This has to be the hardest secret to keep from your own son.
At dinner Troy complains that he's having awkward feelings and gets really angry at his girlfriend for no reason at all. Mother replies," I think it is time for us to tell him why he is having these feelings." Father agreed, so they soon explain to Troy. Troy is completely shocked at why they didn't tell him before. As soon as he is calmed down he tries to call his girlfriend, but his mother and father stop him from telling her. Troy questions why he can't call her. His parent's explain that it has to be a secret.
The next morning Troy complains that he is having cramps in his thy. Father gives him medicine for him to heal. When Troy exits the house, his father tells his mother that he is having cramps. They both agree that he might not be able to transform or have any powers. This has happened once since transforming existed in 1680.
What is going to happen to Troy?
