There was a loud, frightening storm outside of Draco and Harry's new home. Harry Potter laid on their comfortable bed, trying to sleep but found himself unable to due to the storm. The only thing that could be heard was whimpers each bright flash that stole through the curtains or the sounds of bombs following afterwards. Harry looked to his peacefully sleeping boyfriend and couldn't help feel alone, despite him being next to him. Harry could feel the anxiety setting in and he tried to think happy thoughts, thoughts of him and Draco. Harry didn't know if he should wake him or not. He could not decide! He slowly moved off the bed, careful not to wake Draco up. Harry stumbled to the bathroom, following the glorious light. The brightest flash broke through the curtains followed by the sound of 20 bombs being exploding all at once.
Shit! Was all that Harry could think, if only he had grabbed his wand. Through the pelting rain and continuous booms he could hear a soft ruffling noise followed by a groan, setting off a greater fear in him, what if it was a monster of some sort? A bad wizard? Or a dragon? How had dating Draco for only 2 years made him such a pansy? Draco shouldn't had shown him that horror movie just hours ago! Harry silently prayed that Draco would get up, to at least help him back to bed.
Draco's grey eyes flashed open at the sound of a loud crash. He quickly sat up and could see no glow of any light. Draco gingerly touched the side of the bed next to him, no Harry. Draco was confused, Harry fell asleep with Draco right? He didn't go home in a race? "Harry?" he called out into the room quietly. Draco tried again, much louder, "Harry?" He was met by a small sniffle. "Draco?" Harry's voice barely sounded like him, it was so quiet and it sounded like a whimper of sorts. "Where are you?" Draco laughed slightly, how had slightly clumsy Harry get out of the bed without waking Draco up? "I'm not sure, I can't," Harry was interrupted by a loud boom followed by a shriek from the very same boy, before continuing shakily, "I can't see." Draco sighed, Harry was such a mystery, "Don't worry Harry, I'll find you," he replied as he lifted his pillow, gripping his wooden wand in his hand, casting a quick lumos charm. The area lit up around Draco and he could see Harry not far away from the bed, curled into a small ball. Harry lifted his head as Draco climbed out of the bed and over to Harry, easily picking the light boy up.
Draco made haste to get back into the warm bed. Draco laid Harry down on his side and then got into the bed himself. Not even a second later, Harry was curling into Draco side. Draco lifted Harry's head his his finger, "you okay Harry?" he asked. "No! I hate storms!" Harry replied, furious and Draco laughed. Draco observed the boy's slightly damp face and felt guilty. "How come I've never known?" Draco replied, feeling even more guilty that he didn't know his boyfriend was afraid of storms. "Because either we aren't together or your asleep," Harry muttered, "I don't like bothering you." Draco smiled gently and kissed his forehead. "Darling, first of all you are not a bother and second of all wake me up next time or call me, I don't mind, especially if it's you," Draco replied. Harry smiled gently, feeling his face getting quite warm.
Draco wrapped his arms around Harry and reversed the charm, casting the room into total darkness. Harry burrowed his head farther into Draco's chest. "Don't worry, Harry. I got you and I always will," Draco told him, pulling him closer.
