How are things on your end of the country? It's been lonely here without you by my side. I feel like a part of me is missing, but I know why you're there. And I still love you, wherever it is you need to be. I still need you, even if you're thousands of miles away. And I still want you, even though there are dozens of other pretty faces surrounding me. None of them compare to you.

I hear the weather out there has been pretty nice lately for you. Definitely nicer than here in Tree Hill, but who am I to complain. I love it here, although I'd love it better if you were here too. Tree Hill seems so empty without you. I've been missing you like crazy, like you wouldn't even believe. Although, maybe you miss me just as much. I hope you haven't forgotten about me, because I know I'll never be able to forget you.

But the point is, I can't live without you. Which is why I'm coming there tonight, and there's no stopping me. I can't spend anymore time here alone, without losing my mind. It's been a long time
It's been too long since we last talked. Seems like forever, although it's only been a few weeks. But with you, that is too long. I've lost you before, and I'm not willing to do it again. I'm going to hold on tighter than ever before, and never let go. Because forever is a long time to be without you, and I know I couldn't do it, no matter how hard I tried. No one compares to you.

I miss hearing your voice on the other end of the phone, or just knowing it's you that's there. You don't have to say a word, just your presence makes me feel safe. I miss your voice, your eyes, your presence. You're here in my mind, but sometimes that's just not good enough. I'm getting on that plane tonight, and when I finally see you, it might just be the happiest moment of my life. Remembering little things, like the way you smile when you're at your happiest, or how you play with your hair when you're nervous. The little things, that's what I notice most.
