Bioshock: A Stained Lamb.

"One enters an experiment knowing it can fail, but one does not enter it knowing it HAS failed."

The book in Elizabeth´s hand closed as she took a deep breath.

–I can´t believe I finished all of my books!... again. Although I still enjoy reading this book specifically…

She took a look once more at the blue cover of the book that she held with delicacy, the title was "Atlantis, the lost city" Which tailed about a man named Atlas in an underwater city that got lost in history. Elizabeth rolled her eyes and blew her hair off of her forehead before placing the book back on the shelf.

-City at the bottom of the ocean… ridiculous.

She climbed the stairs which lead to a window and sat down next to it, she looked at the city and thought "Maybe someday… I will be able to look at the beauty of the world up close…" And with this thought, inside of her head, repeating over and over again, she fell asleep.

When she woke up, it wasn´t due to Song bird waking her up for food or because she was done sleeping, she woke up due to a loud noises that came from the large metal door that was across the room.

Loud thuds came from the other side of the door. A feeling, mixed with panic and curiosity, struck Elizabeth´s heart, making it pound as it is a hummingbird´s heart. She took the widest and heaviest of the books in her library, for self-defense, and approached the door, slowly.

Suddenly, the gears on the metal door with the "Fink" logo on it started moving, until the locks on the door were completely open. Elizabeth was ready to hit as hard as she could that… thing, that was about to cross the door; A middle aged man with a blue, military-like, uniform and brown hair stepped over the door.

He steeped over, cautiously and with fear in his eyes, after all, all of those signs of caution and danger slipped fear in the heart of this man. Elizabeth jumped at him with the book and started attacking the man as hard as she could, even though she knew that, not doing exercise at all and choosing the heaviest book of all, was not one of her best ideas.

The man got startled at first, but once he noticed the young miss that was… poking him… he took a deep breath and stopped the girl with blue eyes.

-I am sorry young miss, but are you the only one in here?

Elizabeth dropped the book and stayed quiet for a while, she hasn´t heard a male voice in… ever. Her face, revealed astonishment and horror as she raised her hand towards the man´s head.

-Are you real?

The man looked at Elizabeth´s blue eyes, noticing how big and beautiful they were. He took her hand and returned it to her.

-I am sorry madam, but I have to ask you to accompany me…

He grabbed her by the waist and started pushing her towards the elevator that waited for them on the end of the chain of hallways at the top of Monument Islands´ tower. Elizabeth was surprised by the speed of the events that were happening, first a man, A REAL MAN, walked into her library as it if it was nothing, then he is dragging her across several rooms that contained one way mirrors with a view of her home.

Her head could not focus, until she realized that they were waiting for the elevator, she started struggling and pushing the soldier until he said:

-I´m sorry miss, but I have to take you with me.

He took a needle from his belt and injected something into Elizabeth´s arm. Everything around her started fading away, until she fell to the ground, completely asleep.
