Snuffy and Jay Jay were playing Leap Jet at Tarrytown Airport.
"This is fun!" Exclaimed Snuffy.
"Yeah!" agreed Jay Jay.
"Hello guys Can I join yourrr game? It looks like fun." Asked Herky.
Snuffy and Jay Jay both looked at one another and then began laughing
"Hey what is so funny- I don't rrrecall saying anything funny." Herky inquired, confused.
"Hello guys -can I join yourrr game?" repeated Snuffy.
"Hey what is so funny I don't recall saying anything funny?" Jay Jay parroted in response.
The two laughed.
Herky was upset.
He flew away to get rid of his problem- the rolling of his r's.

"They now that should do it!" He decided.
So he set off to find his friends.
...
"Good aftehoon Jay Jay and Snuffy!" Herky greeted them.
"What? Herky what did you just say?"
"I just thought I'd gheet you -that's all." Replied Herky.
"Well you're not making much sense." Snuffy admitted.
Th helicopter flew into a huff and set off to ask Big Jake about the matter.

"Big Jake, I'm trrrying to speak differrrently it's not working." He sighed.
"Why do you need to do that?"
Herky told him about Jay and Snuffy's teasing.
"Well come with me. I'll sort this out." Big Jake offered.
The two set off.

Later Big Jake spoke firmly to the two young jets.
"Now you two, there is always room for fun and games here at Tarrytown Airport." He told them. What there isn't room for is teasing. It's not pleasing to people and you hurt Herky's feelings," He said sternly. "I hope you two are sorry for teasing him-he can't help the way he speaks, you know."
"We are." Jay Jay said, shamefaced now.
"Yeah." Snuffy established.
"We're sorry Herky. We should never have teased you on the way you speak." They said.
"You're forgiven," Herky told them. "I'm sorry for confusing you guys."
"Well, that was our fault. We'll never tease you or anyone again."
