The Climb

I can almost see it, the dream I'm dreaming, but

There's a voice inside my head saying

You'll never reach it.

Minerva continue to look at her teacher, her mentor, her husband portrait. Today is the funeral. She still cannot accept the great Albus Dumbledore is dead. How can she face his burial today?

Every step I'm taking, every move I make feels,

Lost with no direction, my faith is shaking.

But I gotta keep trying

Gotta keep my head held high.

She makes her way down to the Great Hall. She must be strong for Hogwarts. She is now the Headmistress. She must be strong for her colleagues and students. She must put on a brave face.

There's always gonna be another mountain,

I'm always's gonna wanna make it move,

Always's gonna be an uphill battle,

Sometimes I'm gonna have to loose.

Minerva walk down to the place where the burial will take place. Although she tried extremely hard, she couldn't help the tears that are all rolling down her abnormally pale cheeks.

"Minerva, are you OK?" Poppy Pomfrey, the school matron and her best friend ask her softly. Minerva gave her a terse, little nod, took a deep breath and successfully kept herself calm throughout the whole ceremony.

Ain't about how fast I get there,

Ain't about what's waiting on the other side,

It's the climb.

She is headmistress now. The whole school rest upon her shoulder now. There will be a lot more challenges ahead of her. More deaths, more bad news. She can understand that now. She cannot dwell on the past now. She must move ahead. The past cannot matter her anymore. What matters the most now is The Climb.
