Earth —a planet filled with water, with thirty percent land, and containing a populated amount of lifeforms. These lifeforms are known as humans and pokemon, and they share the world in a way that one can't exist without the other. They do a lot of activities: battling, researching, or anything! But, this isn't about an already successful man nor a pokemon turning into a human —this is a story of Ash Ketchum and how he became a world champion.
"A destructive tornado has been spotted near the east of Pallet Town!" A young woman runs with a child on her arms, "Where are they?" she desperately mumbled as she took a glance behind her.
The tornado was right there, ripping apart the houses and once beautiful trees. "Repeat," the woman grunted, "any Pallet native that doesn't make it in the next five minutes will be left behind!" The alarm was loud.
"Oh my little Ash, why must life be so cruel to you and me?" The brunette woman whispered as tears slowly came from her eyes. She knew she wasn't going to make it.
"Why are they so fucking far to the other side!?" She hissed to herself, "Why are they so fucking scared!?" She ran faster than before, "They are fucking cowards and this storm, will not take away my child!" She roared as she began to ignore the exhaustion she once had.
Trees, in colors of pink, green, and orange started to be thrown all over the land. Houses of any form being town to small wood pieces, along with properties being sucked in. The once beautiful town was now gone, replaced with a trench-like zone.
"I know a perfect place." She said as she took a sharp left.
A group of people was standing outside the limits of the tornado. One of which was staring at the town in worry, "Delia, wherever you are, please make it." He said to nobody as the view of the tornado slowly destroys his once beloved home.
"Everyone, let's start heading out! That tornado might take a sudden direction change and could potentially rip us to shreds!" The old man sighed, "Delia, please forgive humanity.".
I ran, ran, and ran faster than I have ever done before. The land I once grew in —now a deserted wasteland. All the pokemon that lived here, now gone, possibly some being dead.
"Fucking dammit!" I yelled, "Why is there nothing I can find to hide in!?"
I then noticed something, a small cave, small enough to fit my unconscious five-year-old. I might die, but my baby boy is to live. That's all that matters.
The bicycle ahead of us was starting to get pulled and flung towards us, "Shit!" I cussed as I sidestepped away from the flying bike.
The moment I reached the small cave, I acted quickly. I made sure Ash was in good enough before collapsing. "Hehe." I chuckled as I took one last look at my baby boy.
"Ashy, remember to clean your underwear," tears form, "and remember, you mothers always loved you." The last sentence I will ever say to my baby boy.
I looked at the tornado, "Honey, I'll be meeting you again."
The trees whistled silently as the puff of sleep powder made the sun sleep into the moon. The pokemon in that area lay there asleep but unknown to them, a pokemon —different to the species —floated above them as it watches them sleep peacefully.
"The peace that resides in this world, that not all species have." It said as started to fly away.
"Why?" It stopped at the voice.
"Why?" A five-year-old said as he looks down at a corpse. The corpse was horrifying: all bones bent, flesh all but warmth, and the hair being all messy.
The boy had just woke up from a small cave, and when he got out of the cave, he sees this horrible nightmare.
The boy dropped to his knees as tears began to form, "Mum," he whimpered, "please let this be a cruel joke."
The boy slowly hugs his dead mother's corpse as memories slowly begin to take place.
"Ashy," she gained his attention, "what career will you pick?" The boy smiled, "To become a pokemon master!" He said as his mother hugged him.
"My little boy already growing up!" She said with tears in her eyes, but that was all evanescent. "Then I will go find dad and bring him back!" His mom frowned.
"Honey, when you get older, I will you about your dad." She said as they continue to eat some ice cream.
"And after that, I will always protect you!" Ash exclaimed.
"I said—no, I promised I would protect you," his fist clench, "but I failed that promise, now I am a failure."
Ash stood up, "I shall become stronger, and not lose anyone I love anymore."
"But, can I—"
"Yes, you can."
The young five-year-old jumped by the voice. The voice —it sounded angelic, a female's voice.
"Who's there!?" Ash asked as he looks all over his surroundings.
"Look above you."
The boy took a glance above him, and what floated above him surprised him. What he has seen was nothing he has ever come across.
The pokemon floating above him had cat-like features, and was pretty tall! It also had a slim neck with some tub-like structure going from its' back to its' head. The weirdest part, however, was the breasts.
"Lady pokemon," Ash started, "why are you nude?"
"Nude? What do you—"
"I am talking about your breasts."
The pokemon froze, "How—I mean, what?" She asked, completely stunned.
After some time, Ash decided to introduce himself.
"My name is Ash Ketchum!" He said, hoping it would end the awkward silence.
The pokemon nodded, "I am Mewtwo," she calmly replied, "I was created by Team Rocket to be the most powerful pokemon in the world."
Ash nodded, "Well, Mewtwo, why are you here?" He asked as places a finger on his cheek, "After all, it's not normal to just appear after an accident."
This action made Mewtwo giggle, "I was concern about other lives compared to others'."
"What do you mean by that?"
"Oh, simple," Mewtwo smiled, "some lives are shit compared to others'." Ash frowned, "Like mine is."
Mewtwo shook her head, "Don't worry, something good might happen to you." She said as she slowly descends to the ground, "Afterall, you seem to be full of purity."
Ash smiled, "Thank you," he said as he started to walk, "I think my mum would have told me that." The boy said as he hugs Mewtwo.
The female pokemon hugged back, "No problem, but now should be the time that I help you find a new home."
"What about Rota?" Ash pointed out.
"Rota?" Mewtwo repeated, "Perfect, but—"
"How did I know? Easy, my mum talked to me about it once."
Ash lets go of Mewtwo, "Before we leave, let me bury mum and say my final goodbye to her." He said as he took a rock, "This"—Ash showed her the rock—"will be the tombstone."
Mewtwo nodded, "I assume you want me to use Dig?"
"Yes, please," Ash replied, "I love some help."
"Mum," Ash bowed, "I will make you proud! I will protect my soon to be loved ones, and I will make sure nothing happens to them like what happened to you."
The boy turned around, "I hope you wish me luck."
"Are you ready?" Mewtwo asked as it slowly started to ascend.
Ash nodded, "Yes."
As soon as Ash answered, pink and glowing psychic energy lift the boy up. "Prepare, this might get a bit cold!" Mewtwo said as she took off along with the boy.
While they took off, Ash took one last glance at the grave.
"Here lies Delia Ketchum, a fantastic mother."
"I am sad that we have to separate," I said to Mewtwo, "I loved the company."
"We might see each other again, so don't feel down." Mewtwo's voice played in my posterior, "The world can be rather limited than big at times."
I smiled, "Well, I wish to see you again."
Mewtwo picked me up by surprise and pecked me on the cheek, "I wish so too," she said, "hard to find pure-hearted people."
I nodded, too busy wondering what just happened.
"See you again, Ashy." With that said, she disappeared from my sight.
"See you again too, Mewtwo ..." A leaf landed on my head, "Ah?"
A tree was there, empty of all its' leaves. "A sad day for me and this tree," I dropped the leaf, "I lost my mom, it lost its' buddies."
I took a look away from the tree to face Rota up ahead. "Here I go!" I said as I sprinted towards the medieval age town.
All the destroyed trees laid next to the small cave and next to the trees was a grave. On that grave was a plant filled with life.
"Ring!"
The boy that laid on the bed switched positions.
"Ring!"
He then slowly rose up.
"Ri—" The boy pressed a button to turn the alarm off.
"So, today is the day?" He said to himself as he jumps off his bed.
"Prepare world," The boy started, "I will become the world's number one pokemon master and remember my name, that being Ash Ketchum!"
Ash soon got read and ran off, without noticing a pink flying cat. "Chosen one, this world will remember you more than just a pokemon master." It said as the boy slowly disappeared from view.
The pink cat curiously looks at what seems to be an invisible being, "What are you still doing here? The chapter is over."
Oh boy, what a rewrite this was. Let's just get started with the bits and there before ending this chapter.
Yes, this is way different than the original. I decided that Mewtwo not messing with Ash's mind and Ash learning how to grow up a bit is better than the typical: erase that character's memory! I also had Mew not pick Ash up, which is part of the plot.
Fourth wall breaks won't happen much, so don't worry.
I also have another story in works! It is called "Ash's Bizarre Poke-Problem," so please check it out if you can.
Anyway, thanks for reading. I will update this on my own time, so don't pester me about not updating it.
Edit: The scene with Mewtwo about the "boobs" comment will be explained in the next chapter, hopefully.
I also will explain why Mewtwo helped Ash.
