Making the Call

Amber and Sarah are now good friends and Amber makes a call to Sarah because her suitemate is very homesick and missing her Mom and Amber thinks that Sarah is close enough to come and comfort her roommmate.

Chapter 1

One morning Amber and gets out of bed throwing on one of Sarah's big sweatshirts and comes out of her room that she shares with her roommmate Melissa and closes the door softly not to wake Melissa and makes her way over to thier kitchen in thier dorm style suite and sees her other suitemate Logan standing by the coffee pot thats brewing fresh coffee.

"Morning hunnie." Amber says to her suitemate Logan

"morning." Logan says watching the coffee drop into the pot

Amber reaches up to the cabinet to get herself a mug "you okay?" Amber wonders grabbing a mug and looks at her concerned

Logan just nods and keeps watching the coffee.

"whats wrong sweetie?" Amber wonders

"nothing." Logan tells her softly and swallows hard

"Logan?" Amber asks

"just homesick and I miss my mom." Logan tells her

"oh." Amber says comfortingly and pulls her into a hug gently wrapping her arms around her like Sarah would of done

"come on sweetie." Amber says

"where we going?" Logan wonders

"over to the couch." Amber says walking her over to it and sits down with her still hugging her and comforts her

Logan lays her head on Ambers shoulder.

"shh." Amber comforts her and just strokes her hair and head like Sarah does with her and just thinks not saying anything for a few minutes

A few minutes later Amber starts to pull away gently.

"where you going?" Logan wonders

"I have to go and make a call; I'll be right back sweetie." Amber tells her and goes back into her room and grabs her cell and leaves the dorm and goes outside to call Sarah

Sarah answers her phone "hello?" Sarah says

"Mom?" Amber asks

"Amber hey!" Sarah says excitedly

"hey I need a favor." Amber tells her

"wow from me?; This is a first!" Sarah says happily

"yeah listen my roommmate Logan is extremely homesick and I think that she could use a little Mommy time and since hers is far away that maybe you would come up here and maybe spend the night and make her feel better and be a great mom like you are?" Amber wonders

"sure I'll be there a little later just let me have time to shower and get packed." Sarah tells her

"thank you thank you; This means a lot to me." Amber tells her

"I know sweetie; See you in a while." Sarah tells her

"okay." Amber says and nods

"bye hunnie.' Sarah says

"bye.' Amber says and hangs up and goes back into her dorm
