Authors note:
First thing I can actually re-write and edit. Not much did it actually change, but I guess this is a bit of a more mature version. Hopefully you will like it better now. :D
Disclaimer:
I do not own -as much as I wish- any of the characters of FILLMORE!. They all belong to Disney, and the creators. So Cheers to you.
I also don't own the song that actually entitles this One-shot. This is an original from a band called: KEANE. The song it's We might as well be strangers
We might as well be strangers
I don't know your face no more
Or feel your touch that I adore
I don't know your face no more
It's just a place I'm looking for
She was siting in front of me. She was just like the last time I saw her. Long brown hair in a ponietail, with her big & shiny brown eyes.
Yeah, she was exactly as I remembered her, but it wasn't like that anymore…
We might as well be strangers in another town
We might as well be living in a different world
We might as well, we might as well, we might as well
She had change, just as I had. We were almost a shadow of who we used to be.
The Red Robins had end, and both, she and I, had graduated from Junior High, and had started High School.
Another year next to her, just like the first time. But we ignored eachother, even when both of us sit alone in the recess …
I don't know your thoughts these days
We're strangers in an empty space
I don't understand your heart
It's easier to be apart
It's been two -maybe so long I can't even say it right- years since I last spoke with her..
I don't know her anymore. And neither does she. Maybe blue is still her favorite colour and maybe she still loves chocolate and avellana ice cream…or maybe she doesn't. Maybe she's not that girl anymore
We might as well be strangers in another town
We might as well be living in another time
We might as well, we might as well, we might as well
Now, more than ever I miss her. I miss everything about her, not only her honesty or her stubborness… I miss her…The way she would laughed when I was a clown, or how she smiles with that slight touch of arrogance in her eyes. The way she wouldn't let me alone...I miss her.
Be strangers
Be strangers
For all I know of you now
For all I know of you now
For all I know of you now
For all I know
But no...there is no more her... I miss my Malika... but now, we might as well be strangers….
