Red. Hermione Jean could only see red. What the hell was this? She read the the crumpled up love letter over and over again. This had to be the thirtieth time she had studied Katie's handwritten note in the last half hour.

Is this why Fred had been so distant lately? Was it because of the promise of whip cream and cherry covered breast? Because of the "fantastic sex?" Hermione could practically hear her heart breaking; crushing itself.

Hermione flicked her wand quickly, and the muggle radio she hid away in her trunk came flying down the stairs. She gave her wand another swoosh, and the radio started to blare.

"In the parking lot of a seven-eleven
With a picture of you, like a picture of heaven
But my tears fall down upon the wheel
Breaking apart is how I feel,
Just how I feel
'Cause I've been shot down
Everybody turn around
To the sound of my breaking heart; just burn
Everybody take a turn
Light a match to my paper heart"

The tears fell, and an endless pain surrounded the witch. Hermione could barely breathe. What did Katie have that she didn't? Was Fred with her right now? Of course he was. Of course.

"Mione?" A voice she knew so well made her body convulse, a fresh wave of tears cascading down her face, and angry swell up in her heart. "Hermione? What's wrong, love?"

Scoffing, Hermione started to push away from the loving arms that were reaching out for her. She pulled the crumpled paper from her grip and threw it at his freckle covered face.

Confusion was written all over Fred's face. "What the-" As Fred read the note realization dawned on him. "Hermione, this isn't what it looks like."

"Oh really?" Hermione shot him a glare, daring him to defy her. "It's exactly what it looks like, Fred Weasley!"

"Yes, but," Fred's once bright eyes were filled with pain, "Hermione listen. I played this prank on Katie yesterday. This is her revenge plan. Read over my shoulder, okay?"

Hermione pouted, but leaned over, eyes scanning over the note. Suddenly the words she had read countless times formed a winking face and written below it was a simple, "Have fun explaining this one to your girl, Freddieboy."

"Oh," Hermione whispered, furrowing her brow. She felt Fred's arms snake around her, pulling her onto his lap as he gave her the parchment.

"It's enchanted," Fred told Hermione, watching as the note appeared again in her grasp. "It says one thing when you hold it, and another when I do."

"I'm gonna kill her," Hermione muttered, burying her head against the side of Fred's neck.

"Maybe instead," Fred suggested, kissing he top of her head, "We could use that note there as some pointers, huh!"

Hermione knew that her boyfriend had to be waggling his brows and grinning from ear to ear. A laugh fell from her lips as she rolled her eyes, "We should get started then, huh?"

"Agreed," Fred smirked, squeezing her sides. Giggles and moans flowed from Hermione as Fred's lips began a detailed assault.
