Chapter One

Thanks For The Memories

Roxas PoV

Okay seriously, what the fuck am I doing here?! One glance at the dark city or perpetual rain and sorrow and I'm pretty sure you'd be thinking the same thing. No really, this town was the epitome of creepy, it looked like something right out of a freaking horror movie. Honestly, I'm cold, I'm wet and I think I have like amnesia or something, the only thing I remember is what I did in my very long two minutes of consciousness, which was basically glare at that freaky heart shaped moon and sitting in the rain, everything before that is blank. Just fucking great.

I almost had a heart attack when a ominously black creature with glowing golden eyes morphed from the shadows of the empty alleyway. A slow mantra of 'Don't move' rung through my head, I was almost content to do just that, until it started getting closer. Oh shit, did it just hiss at me, I'm dead. I peered through my fingertips, not quite recalling ever covering my eyes in the first place. I'm doomed. That shadowy gremlin thingy -lets call them shadows- had freaking multiplied or something. Seriously. God, I'm more than dead, I'm non-existent. (A.N. Lol.)

My mind was so preoccupied with thoughts of my imminent death that I barely noticed the tingly sensation in the tips of my fingers and the rapid hot fire spreading through my body. In a brilliant explosion of ethereal light two large keys materialized in my hands, I stumbled slightly, my back hit the wall hard, knocking my breath away. With a pained wince I pushed into the fray, some unseen force screaming at me to attack. Scary shit really. Never the less I obeyed that all knowing voice.

I soon learned though, that a few good hits to the head and they faded in black wisps of smoke. What happened next would probably scar me for the rest of my life, but it's a day I'll always remember...unless a creepy old guy erases my memory. But that would never happen. Right?

Sorry it's late, but Merry Christmas.
