My Sleeping Goddess
I smile softly as I walk into the room. She lies there serene and beautiful
as the setting sun. My sleeping goddess. That's what she is. I notice that her
smooth golden tressels hang off the edge of the bed, just barely. Her small form
curled peacefully under the covers.
I walk over slowly and stop next to the side she's on. Reaching out, I run my
fingers gently down her jawline. A small smile plays at her lips as I do. 'How
long have we been together now, in this lifetime? So long....I've already lost count.'
Running my free hand through my dark locks, I smile at the vision of her lieing in
our bed.
Slowly I drew my hand reluctantly from her cheek. The smile once on her
rosey lips disappeared as quickly as it had appeared. Pulling back the covers, I get into
the bed, laying next to my sleeping goddess. Reaching out, I lay my arm across her waist
and pull her to my side. I could see her smile as she snuggled into my embrace. Holding
her close, I smell her hair and neck as my hands rub the small of her back. Suddenly,
the sweet sound of bells ring out as I hear her speak from her dreams, " Aishiteru, Mamo-chan..."
I smile softly as I kiss her forehead and pull her closer, "Aishiteru, Usako..."
