"Listen, it's nothing personal, but I just don't think you're cut out to be NCIS…" Director Vance said awkwardly, leaning forward to rest his elbows on his desk and steepling his man sitting in the chair facing the desk looked confused.

"What do you mean? Is it because…?"

"Let me show you," Vance stood and walked out of his office, gesturing for the man to follow him.

"You see," He explained as they walked. "NCIS has gotten a new standard, and I'm not sure you're powerful enough. Here, look."

They stopped at the railing overlooking the squadroom, people milling around beneath them as they made their way to their desks.

"What…"The man's voice trailed off as he saw what Vance was talking about.

"Hello?" Special Agent Timothy McGee said, answering his buzzing cell phone. "Again?" He sighed into the receiver. "Why can't you just use the door like regular people?" He paused. "Yeah, yeah, I'll do it. Bye." Snapping shut his phone and slipping it into his pocket McGee went over and opened one of the room's large windows, opening it.

The man watched on, perplexed, wondering what that was all about.

Suddenly, Forensic Scientist Abby Scuito flew, literally, through the window. "FWWWWOOOOOOOSHHHHH!" She fwooshed, rolling as she landed before bouncing to her feet. "Thanks, McGee!" She squealed, hugging him, before going off to her lab, leaving McGee behind to roll his eyes at her.

"Hey there, McGoogle!" Tony DiNozzo greeted his favorite victim, removing a tabby cat from his head and meowing to it. "Jeffery says he could really go for some pizza."

"Cats don't eat pizza, Tony" McGee sighed, typing away at his computer.

"Jeffery does," McGee jumped as he looked up to find Jeffery sitting on his desk staring at him with those evil cat eyes, his tail flicking to and fro. Just staring, staring, staring…

"Fine!" He gave him, narrowing his eyes as he concentrated on an empty space on Tony's desk. The air there rippled for a moment and a pizza appeared.

"I wanted mushrooms…" Tony complained, but McGee ignored him, distracted by Gibbs stepping out of the elevator.

The boss-man strolled towards his desk, casually sipping his coffee, some maniac with a machine gun following close behind. The maniac unloaded clip after clip of bullets at Gibbs, but each one just bounced harmlessly away if they got too close to him.

"Uh..Is there a problem boss?" Tony asked, watching the happenings oddly, stroking Jeffery as the cat nibbled on some pizza.

"Nope," Gibbs answered simply, ignoring them.

"Hey, Ziva." McGee greeted as the Israeli Mossad Officer walked towards them, iPod in her ear. When she caught sight of the maniac trying to shoot Gibbs and failing, she dropped and did a spinning breakdance move, knocking the maniac over with a well-placed spinning leg. With another funky move she kicked him out the window that McGee has neglected to close.

"Wow, you got skillz, David." Tony whistled in awe.

"We got a dead marine. Grab your gear," Gibbs said suddenly, either not noticing or caring that the maniac had been 'taken care of'. He just strode toward the elevator while the rest of the team scrambled to get their stuff and run after him.

"Do you see what I mean now?" Vance asked, turning to look at the man.

"Are you serious?" Sylar asked, "I'm not powerful enough? Me?"

"I'm afraid so Mr…Gray," Vance said, not sounding all to sorry, having to glance at his application to remember his name. "Maybe you should try the FBI."
