Luna was a small blonde girl. And from the outside it looked like she was absolutely bonkers. To her friends it still seemed like she was at least a little barmy. But she didn't care.
Luna Lovegood didn't care what anyone thought of her. And that was one of the reasons that Ginny Weasley liked her. She was a girl who could take what was handed to her, and not get upset in the slightest.
It was a cold October morning when Ginny was outside, just soaking in as much sunshine as she could. Scotland was rather notorious for its bad weather. The sunshine, and relative warmth, were a nice reprieve from rain and storms.
She found a sleeping Luna on the ground. She was soaked, but from what Ginny couldn't tell. She hadn't been aware of any storms the previous night, but that didn't mean that they hadn't happened.
She picked the sleeping girl up. She was lighter than Ginny had anticipated. Luna was very slender, but Ginny had still expected her to weigh more that she did. She carried her up to the hospital wing easily, hardly stopping to catch her breath.
She left her there, with hardly a glance over her shoulder. How could she weigh so little? Perhaps it had to do with the fact that she let next to nothing weigh her down.
